Is climate change real?
Wednesday – October 22, 2025
Over the past couple of decades there's been much talk about climate change, specifically global warming, something I've only lightly covered in the past, and while I am no scientist and therefore have no intention of making scientific claims about global warming, I must admit that my first impulse was to think of climate change as an enormous fraud perpetrated by people of the extreme humanist persuasion, I've come to conclude that there seems to be evidence for climate change. I believe, as I've covered in the past, that climate change, perhaps global warming in particular, should be taken as a sign that humanity is heading towards the closure of the Kali Yuga. But I also believe that climate change should be taken as a sign that the creator has removed his hand of protection as man has continued to fall further. I've mentioned in the past that things such as homosexuality, abortion, the destruction of meaning and tradition, etc, have helped to promote these extreme weather events that have taken the world with a storm. So yes, I believe that climate change is real, but I don't believe so much in the supposed cause of climate change. Well, that's not true. I do believe that humanity has caused climate change so I actually agree with the climate scientists that are claiming that human activity has caused climate change but I believe that the solutions to climate change are spiritual in nature, not material. Indeed, I don't believe that materialism can solve the problem of materialism. But before I cover the spiritual aspects of climate change, allow me to propose certain material solutions to this problem. The problem with climate change, from a purely materialist point of view, seem to be that human activity has caused an excess of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which then keeps more sunlight, or really energy in the form of heat, on the planet which then leads to warmer waters and lands, and which will then disrupt the climate and cause great change. The fear seems to be that if the climate changes radically enough this could cause severe and adverse consequences for human civilizations. Another fear is of course that if the glaciers begin to melt rapidly that the oceans could begin to increase or rather that the level of the ocean will increase which could cause a great risk to land that then will become situated below sea level, such as in the case of the Netherlands and Bangladesh, but there are of course many other countries that would end up below the sea level in this even as well. Indeed, there are also concerns about how certain and endangered wildlife will be affected by this. I can surely see why these concerns are valid and legitimate, but I believe that hysteria is bad for your heart. One must take in the information about climate change with an open mind. Yes, it does seem that humanity from a purely mechanical and materialistic point of view have caused the climate to change, but then the question should become how long will it take for the climate to reach a critical point? This is not a question for me to answer, since I am not a scientist and since I have no insight about the perils of potential radical change to the climate. But as I've previously stated: I believe that there are spiritual solutions to this problem since I believe that this problem is essentially spiritual in nature. I do also want to make it clear that I am in no way blaming individual men or certain groups of people: I believe that this is a problem with the whole of humanity and it would not be proper for me to start blaming individuals or certain groups for the changing climate. However, I do believe that pointing out certain behavior and certain lack of skillful means can be useful to understand the problem on a spiritual level. This is why I for instance mentioned homosexuality and abortion, but this is not me attempting to put the blame on these groups (homosexuals and women undergoing abortion), I am merely attempting to point out a larger issue with a clear and present degeneration of the primordial and sacred values.
As I stated: I believe that the main and fundamental causes of climate change and indeed any change in our world are spiritual in nature. Indeed, it is always easier to overlook and gloss over the very real and overwhelming truths amid us, but these truths, these profound insights, have been hidden in our times and it's clear that it has become increasingly hard for men to gauge these truths. What the proponents of the humanist axiom calls "progress" is indeed a sign of our times and the declining human connection to the creator and the primordial source. Should a man be free to destroy his own life? More to the point, should a man be free to not only wreck his own life but the life of the entire organism that is society? Verily, this is the question of our time and it should remain unanswered for it has been ordained by the divine providence of our creator that this question can only be answered at the close of the Kali Yuga, or really at the opening of the new era, the era of rebirth. This is why we are living with a changing climate, or rather this is why we are living with a rapidly changing climate that goes beyond anything that can be expected and observed from normal fluctuations in the background. Indeed, I also believe that the corruption of man that has existed since the dawn is fueling the clear and frank embrace by modern man of the willing chaos and I believe that a reasonable solution to this could be the emerging post-political paradigm, but it is still too early to tell. I believe that there is nothing you can or should do on a global scale to prevent climate change, because this has been preordained, but I believe that you can and should do things in your own private life to avoid the worst excess of this problem. One thing could be to move away from countries that likely will experience the grunt of climate change. So again, yes climate change is real but do not fear, do not fear.
In the end this is a part of the plan, the creator's plan for the world.
