What is divine intervention? | August 12, 2025
First and foremost: I don't believe, or rather I don't adhere to the Christian canon of divinity in the creation, that is I don't believe that Yahweh intervenes on behalf of people, at least not in modern times, for the cyclical nature of the world is the best way for the creator to intervene in the world, and only few and very special occurrences can call on the creator to directly intervene and part away from the fundamentally deterministic and providential nature of the world. This means that in very few cases God can be said to have intervened on behalf of someone or something. Sure, you may define the concept of divine intervention such that it would include the cyclical and providential nature of the world, but this would be outside of the scope of this blog post. Divine intervention works a little bit like winning the lottery: if you are incredibly lucky, or indeed unlucky in certain cases, you may receive help from above, but this would only occur for certain reasons that have to do with the celestial order, or rather that if Yahweh doesn't intervene the celestial order risks or will definitely become completely out of order. I don't know when Yahweh can be said to have intervened the last time, but my guess would be that this happened a long time ago; far before our days in the very deep and distant past. One could guess that God intervened to create the Earth and the particular conditions that made it possible for life on this rock, but even that might be taking it to far, for I surely and in all honesty cannot answer this profound question, but I can say that it is clear that many people are making the claim that they have received divine intervention, when this could clearly not be further from the case, and such is the case with many false prophets in our modern times. Do not fall for false prophets, for they are not speaking the language of the creator; these agents of the serpent are speaking the language of Satan and greed, for they will make sure to support the imbrication of themselves into the market economy, always. To the extent that the market economy works to extend the influence and the agenda of the serpent, it can be said to do the work of Satan and evil in general, but back to divine intervention. There is surely such a thing as divine intervention, and while I don't believe that the creator has been actively involved in the material domain since at least its inception a very distant time ago, and if it is the case that the lord has worked on the Earth and the universe since that time, he has surely made it the case to be very quiet about it. I believe in a Jehovah merciless towards the infidel and the unbelievers and as such there is no reason for Jehovah to intervene on behalf of the unsuspecting infidel; instead it would be quite appropriate for the infidel to feel the wrath in the application of Radical Peace, for that is the best teacher. Besides, I believe that man is fundamentally sick and depraved, and it would require constant intervention by Jehovah if he was to intervene in the daily lives of undeserving beings such as the case with humanity. In the case of addiction, a subject that I have covered recently, it is the case that the forces of darkness and of decay have intervened on the side of the material victory, and we can all see with our eyes and hear with our ears where that path has lead, and indeed, such things as heroin and alcohol has been made with the intention of upsetting both the societal and the celestial order to such an extent that the Kingdom of the Lord will be shaken, but nothing will and nothing can shake the Kingdom of the Lord, and that is why Yahweh will intervene on these occasions to strike down the agents of cosmic disorder, but I am unable to name these occasions, since I am not infallible. In the end, I don't expect intervention from the divine, but if it was to occur I would welcome it with open arms, and this is why I regard the chances of receiving a gift from the creator to be equal to winning the jackpot on any given lottery, it won't happen in almost all cases. But do not fear and to not grief, for in the end the world will be set right and the beast will be thrown out from the land, and the serpent will be put in his proper place, for the serpent does surely serve a function, a divine function.
Remember to praise Jehovah and he will guide you, even if you don't believe, for the creator does not require your permission, which is another fundamental problem with the modern world: the creator doesn't care about whether you believe or not, for this is of no importance to him and if you believe that the entire universe should revolve around you, then you are merely bragging about the fact that the serpent has defeated your spirit. This is also true in the case of divine intervention: the creator does not need your permission to guide you towards the light, for he has created everything in the creation and everything has been created and constituted in such a way that it all points or converges towards the light, the source. Of course, in line with the humanist axiom, most modern men are arrogant, for they believe themselves to possess what they have labeled the extra nature of reason and intelligence, and therefore they have allowed themselves to dismiss divine intervention, which means that the modern world is missing the key component of sustained contact with the divine, but then again, this was always the plan. It can surely be a tragic thing, living in full knowledge of the fact that humanity is a rather dirty and low beast, meant not to survive beyond an era of times gone by and that only man's union with the serpent is what is keeping him alive, which is the mark that fundamentally makes man an immoral and evil creature, apart from the few men that surely stands for something else and that have acquired skillful means, and these men will be provided with the tools to take themselves and their prodigy forward in time, something that cannot be said about most of humanity. I can understand that some people may get offended by my assertion that humanity is fundamentally sick and depraved and really does deserve to feel the divine vengeance of Jehovah, but for these people I will offer this: you are not important and Jehovah doesn't care about you, but you are hurting yourself and as long as you keep up with that, be sure that you won't be included in the final plan, the plan to defeat the beast and his friend the serpent.
