War in Iran!

Image
Azadi Square, Tehran By Akbar Nemati War in Iran ! Sunday – March 1, 2026 As I am writing this the situation in Iran is very volatile and "fluid" and "information" is very much disputed and unreliable, read " Navigating the informational landscape ". I do not believe in anything coming out of my news sources , at least not at the moment and we may be dealing with an enormous psychological operation here (PSYOP); well, actually regardless of the situation on the ground in Iran, what international media is now engaging in is essentially a large scale psychological operation, and really this is nothing but pure propaganda. Essentially, I can't discern anything happening on the ground in Iran and everything is simply too early to tell at the moment. Beyond that I believe that most people are ambivalent about this situation, which makes sense for the moment being, but do notice the masses and how they will slowly allow the propaganda to enable them to pivot...

Further thoughts about fasting – freestyle

Image
Dates in cup with prayer beads By Rauf Alvi Further thoughts about fasting | Saturday – February 28, 2026 Here's my original post about fasting; read that before you read this post, or don't – the choice is yours.     Aside from being something quite moral, fasting is also a very important part of spirituality around the world, and this is especially the case within Islam where fasting is referred to as  Sawm ( صَوْم ), which more strictly actually translates into judgement, because within the Islamic tradition being able to fast—during Ramadan ( ر-م-ض ) in particular—is something that is required and judgement will fall on those who fast and those who don't fast. Of course, there are many other traditions that call for fasting and it should be worth noting the number 40, which is very significant from a metaphysical point of view, when it comes to the Judaic and Christian tradition. Of course, while being able to fast is in itself a form of discipline , it mu...

Personal Note XXXVIII

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush What are my convictions? Friday – February 27, 2026 In my earlier posts from this series ( Personal notes series ), I have noted that I don't generally tend to share information about myself and I intend to keep it this way, because I do not regard myself as a person of interest; the information relayed by this page is what matters to me. On the other hand I do believe that it would be better for me to share some of my convictions beyond the metaphysical, mostly in order to engage in a kind of "strategic discourse", for I, just like anyone else, am shaped by certain preconceptions about the world. If you are interested in the political side of this page, I direct you to my posts under the " Politics & Ideology " label or to my " Political Notes " page.      I do believe that sharing certain convictions that I hold is important because it seems rather silly to claim to be "neutral". Is there ...

Navigating the informational landscape

Image
Cape Point "directional sign" By Mick Haupt Navigating the informational landscape | Thursday – February 26, 2026 If you're interested in my post that specifically deals with types of information or "news & media", read that post here .     Ah, yes it's the 21st century and navigating the informational landscape is harder than ever and knowing what good information truly is seems quite impossible, and all this is of course in keeping with the overriding tendencies of our time – read " The End of history ". When it comes to information you must understand that there are different forms of information and the information that is delivered to you will be of more or less quality , and in this context you can think of "high quality" information as something that is shaped by truth, and "low quality" information as something that is shaped by quantity or density – truth in this context being something that transcends the temporal...

Should you break rules?

Image
"Lady Justice" By Tingey Injury Law Firm Should you break rules? Wednesday – February 25, 2026 Should you break rules? Well, that depends on what the "rules" are and if those rules are truly sacred, that is to say are the rules anchored in the metaphysical order of things? Beyond the metaphysical question one must also always take the corporeal dimension into account: if you break one of those profane "laws" are you likely to get away with it, or is such a "law", profane though it may be, really immoral or counter to the metaphysical order of things? Yes, this question is of course gigantic and has no short answer. Also, before I proceed to attempt to answer the question in the heading, allow me to clarify once again that I do not call on you or anyone else to break any laws, even if those laws are merely profane, because this will only serve to hurt you in the end – the harsh truth in the temporal domain is that you are always going to be outnum...

Notes on stupid people – freestyle

Image
"No stupid people" by Jordan Tallent Notes on stupid people | Tuesday – February 24, 2026 I am someone who doesn't like to deal with stupid people, because stupidity works on my nerves and that in turn makes me unable to properly do what I am supposed to do, namely write this blog post for instance. Of course, due to democracy , stupidity is at the forefront and anything really skillful must always be pushed aside, and this is even true in the domain of " reason ", because of course reason isn't the means by which democratic "discourse" is propagated; democracy is always propagated through sentimentalism . This means, essentially, that yes, modern people are both profoundly stupid and ignorant, ignorant because they've been made stupid. Who in this particular iteration of time is really capable enough to receive any kind of divine mandate? None, because those old social distinctions have been erased and the victim of so-called "cyberbully...

Observations about the world, part twenty-four

Image
Photograph of the Atlas globe Identity politics | Monday – February 23, 2026 The preponderance of what has been labeled "identity politics" or "identity discourse" seems to have reached a kind of crescendo in the Western world , particularly within the dying American Empire , which seems curious in light of the supposedly " enlightened " and individualistic ideals of that society; more about that in my post about the "American Empire" that I linked to above. If you're also interested in understanding identity then I direct you to my " Collectivism & Individualism series ", where I dwell on the concepts of identity and collectivist politics in greater detail. So, I do not intend on rehashing or repeating what I have stated elsewhere in this post.     What is identity politics and has it really reached a peak? Well, I will start by dispelling the last part of that question: I do not believe that the phenomena of identity discourse...

Notes on "Polygamy" – freestyle

Image
Bedouins ( بَدْو ) in the Hejaz ( ٱلْحِجَاز ), 16th century Notes on Polygamy | Sunday – February 22, 2026 P olygamy as the moderns refer to the otherwise normal practice of a husband taking more than one wife, which is really referred to as polygyny, is the source of some controversy and confusion, and really it must be stated that the practice of taking more than one wife is often considered something quite  reprehensible by these same moderns, and again this moral confusion is really particularly expressed in the West . Excuse my usage of the neologisms "polygamy" and "polygyny", for these words are entirely modern in origin and it's really quite clear from the prefix "poly" that the modern obsession with measurement, number, and quantification is what can be described as the source of the confusion in this connection; from this point onward I intend to only rely on the word polygamy to mean essentially what the more precise word polygyny refers to...

The Big Lie

Image
Soviet cosmonauts ( космонавт ) By Pavel Neznanov The Big Lie | Saturday – February 21, 2026 If you're familiar with this side of the internet, I'm sure you've heard about how the world, at any rate in its current state, really is a big fat lie? And sure, this wouldn't be a false description of the current state of affairs, but this kinda blasé and unskillful attitude towards the larger picture really isn't helpful either; apart from that the lack of knowledge that this attitude tends to carry is also not very helpful, since this tends to make people very open to more liars and more charlatans. See, you're suspicion that the banking sector, for instance, probably isn't very " Godly ", for lack of a better word, isn't not entirely misplaced, and further your suspicion of the whole rotten structure of the entire system is also quite righteous, but then again you lack skills and you lack insight. It would be perfectly right to label the war , w...

Gender roles

Image
Hindu ( ॐ ) depiction of Gaņeśa ( गणेश ) Gender roles | Friday – February 20, 2026 G ender roles have caused much uproar lately, especially in the political arena , and it seems that most people engaged in this so-called " debate " have no sense of the primordial and traditional relationship between the sexes, something that I lightly covered in my "miniseries" on feminism , or between the " genders " as modern people like to call it. I've covered this neologism in the past and recently I wrote about the concept of " Gender-queer " where I mentioned something called "Queer theory", but I never elaborated on that point, something I don't intend to do in this post either but nonetheless something that I will be forced mention or at any rate touch upon. I intend to remain somewhat disconnected, aloof if you will, from  the hysteria and antics of politics , and apart from this I once again need to assert that I owe no allegiance to...
