Poems & Proverbs

Buddhust Mantra : ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ
This is my list of poems and proverbs. From time to time I will update this list. At the moment there is no inherent order in this list; so do bear with me.

Native American Proverbs:

"Walk lightly in the spring; Mother Earth is pregnant."
—
Kiowa proverb

"Life is not separate from death. It only looks that way.
— Blackfoot Proverb

"The one is the all. The all are the one."
― Hopi Proverb

Biblical Poems and Proverbs:

"My child, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, 'Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us wantonly ambush the innocent'; like Sheol let us swallow them alive and whole, like those who go down to the Pit."
— Proverbs 1:10 – 12

Buddhist Poems and Proverbs:

"Walk and touch peace every moment.
Walk and touch happiness every moment.
Each step brings a fresh breeze.
Each step makes a flower bloom.
Kiss the Earth with your feet.
Bring the Earth your love and happiness.
The Earth will be safe
when we feel safe in ourselves."
— Thich Nhat Hahn
