The Universe

Image of the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field The Universe | Wednesday – October 7, 2026 P rofane Science has unveiled an enormous cosmos that really must be said to be quite incomprehensible to almost any man. Indeed, this image of the so-called "Hubble Ultra-Deep Field" is one but many examples of this, and according to the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) the image featured on this page contains more than 10 000 galaxies, and each of those galaxies contains between hundreds of millions to billions of stars, and this particular images is just one small representation of the universe form one tiny dot in the sky.      Indeed, this is quite simply amazing and should serve to put it all into perspective, whether or not you are a proponent of profane science or not, and I must admit that I have never quite understood men who claim to oppose profane science, for profane science in and of itself can surely be demonstrated to hold true, and none of th...

Observations About the World, Part Forty-Seven

Photograph of the Atlas globe Carpe Diem? Tuesday – October 6, 2026 T his Latin saying of Carpe Diem is perhaps a true cliché, meaning "pluck the day", and I must say that I do not regard this saying in and of itself as quite annoying, but I do find it to be a very overused phrase and I would prefer that all of these pretentious people stopped using it. The thing that really set me off against people using "Carpe Diem" was reading a very painful autobiography written by a profoundly unemployed liberal man in the United States , and since I refuse to engage in marketing on this blog , you will have to figure out for yourself what book I am referring to. Now can you imagine the title of that autobiography? Yes, it was "Carpe Diem", but I stated that I was not going to do marketing, and I am not; there are at least 1000 autobiographies with that title written by profoundly white liberal and useless men. So really, there I am running no risk by revealing the...

Barbarism

Captain William Bainbridge paying tribute to the Dey ( داي ) of Algiers Barbarism | Monday – October 5, 2026 B arbarism is commonly used as a word to describe something barbaric. Yes, forgive my tautology. But yes, barbarism is often invoked when we feel righteous indignation, when we consider a situation intolerable, and perhaps murder comes to mind? At any rate, the word barbaric does not come from the Berbers ( ⵉⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵏⵎⵣⵗⵏ ), a population in modern day Morocco, but often the Barbary Corsairs are thought of as quite barbaric, especially when we consider their slave pracises, because it their slave trade with Europeans is often forgotten about, especially during bouts of hysterical historical sentimentalism . I do not disagree with this: I find the Barbary Corsairs to be quite barbaric, but one should separate their Islam from their slave practices, as they mostly relied on Islam as a poor excuse for their actions, but more on this another time. Now, the word "barbaric" doe...

Bible Study, Part 15

Image
Creation of Light ( אוֹר ) By Gustave Doré Genesis, Chapter 15 | Sunday – October 4, 2026 N ow we may concern ourselves more with Abram ( אַבְרָם ) and his covenant with Yahweh ( יהוה ), as we are moving further and further into the story of the Book of Genesis ( בְּרֵאשִׁית ). I have attempted in previous parts to build up a certain expectation, but I also do not wish to reveal too much beforehand, and here in Chapter 15 much of what I have written about in the previous parts will make more sense, at least to a certain degree. This is why I regard it as useful and important to read the Bible and any book with a certain prudent expectation for the future, but again prudent and not overt, as being too overt will likely lead you down the wrong path, a hidden valley really, which would not be useful here in particular.     This is the 15th part of this " Bible Study series ", and as usual I must implore you to read each previous part of this series in a chronological order be...
