My views on warfare in modern times – June 6, 2025

In line with contemporary confusions about the universal nature of man, in the form of the egalitarian man of the populist mass, and the drive for ever greater quantities at the expense of the sacred qualities in life – the art of warfare has also been made subject to the whims of the primordial nature of the so-called "natural" man, thus leading to wars with ever greater destructive outcomes. When in the past, only few men of noble rank would engage in the art of warfare, for the defense of their sacred honor, as men of the ascendant and noble class, and for the preservation of the moral order, central to civilization: warfare has in the modern day been reduced to an exercise in organized mass murder, destruction on ever larger scales, and an assault on the sacred and the transcendental itself – often for the victory of he who can afford to claim the largest purse, and for the only intention to make that purse larger.

    This means that the only victory that can be expected as the outcome of modern war, is that of the complete destruction of civilization itself, in line with the beastly instincts of the "natural" man, for victory in the sacred art of war would be the descent to the Earth of the moral order of the universe and the defeat of the beastly tendencies of the uncivilized horde. But in modern times, the beastly infidel horde has been released in the form of mobilized masses, driven to assault every aspect of civilized life, and driven by the complete degeneration of the moral order in mind; no longer is the soldier a noble man with the earnest intentions to uphold the moral order, instead he is a mere part of the general mass of humanity swung into battle against some other human mass, all in the name of greater profits, greater quantities, and the idolization of man. That the people claiming to be humanitarians should have come to shout about such things as "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity" is only laughable in this context, and also goes to show to which lengths modern man is ready to go to defend this state of affairs, as long as the idolatry of man continues to be upheld as the only true moral order on Earth.

    It is also clear that the honor of men has come to be something not honorable at all, as a result of the degradation of the nobleman, to nothing but a citizen, a subject of the liberal and democratic order; he is expected, without any regard for his capability or allegiance, to happily waste his own life for the defense of this false authority of the nation-state, when still the only outcome to be expected is the complete destruction of civilization and the qualities inherent to that civilization. The only victory of modern war is the accelerated decay, the complete decomposition of everything civilized and everything sacred, and that modern men should have come to accept this as something natural only goes to show how far modern man has departed from the moral domain, and anchored himself to the profane and to the beastly. In reducing man to the "natural" man, the animal of the homo sapiens sapiens, driven only by his own materialistic instincts and temptations, war has also followed that path, and as recent history shows, this has only enabled man to unleash his lowest and most anti-human potential: in the form of genocidal warfare, with the ultimate goal to destroy everything sacred to life. This all is the product of the idolatry of man and of the concepts of some kind of inevitable progress and improvement of the human condition as a mere function of time, yet modern man stands completely powerless in the image of his own face. The loss of true effort, the belief in time and in great numbers, and the belief in man's only purpose to live for the profane is the sign of our time – the Kali Yuga. I say depart the material and embrace the pacific outlook in the face of the brutal nature of modern man, and never resign yourself to modern warfare – the epitome of moral decline and corruption.
