What is the most rational thing to do?
Saturday – October 25, 2025

Well, according to the man governed by reason the most rational thing to do might just be to lay down and await death. Indeed, this seems to be the logical and rational conclusion to life, just skip it in its entirety, and that's something that I've lightly covered in the past. But of course this course of action is no course of action, for death is ever imminent when life is present and really the only proper and good definition of death would be the absence of life. I don't believe that it's bearable or reasonable to approach life entirely from a materialistic point of view, and people that do relate to the world in this way are more often than not labeled "psychopaths" or cold, and indeed that would be a true description of the man completely governed by reason, for that man has no humanity and no connection to the profound insights of life. Of course, psychopaths do have certain upsides in life, such as being able to completely and totally reject norms, which I believe is a good thing, but I don't believe that psychopaths reject norms for the same reasons I reject norms. See, if you're a psychopath everything becomes transactional, and while you can live a life that way, I don't believe you can live a good or true life that way. Once you've embraced the beastly form, there may be no return. Do you really want to become a psychopath? I don't think so, and I don't think you want to just lay down and die, even though life may be hard at the moment. Ask yourself this: why should the material order be allowed to create barriers and other limits that take away your freedom and really your autonomy to shape your own destiny? This is nothing but slavery, yes slavery I say! The most advanced form of slavery is indeed the slavery of the mind, totalitarianism and they want to control your mind. Don't you see how much your life is shaped by the infrastructure of civilization and not by the laws of nature? You are supposedly an animal and controlled by animalistic instincts, yet you are supposed to be governed by reason? This is a contradiction that at some point will grow so large that civilization cannot survive, but that's a topic for another time but do note that this contradiction is right at home here in the era of the Kali Yuga. If you are going to turn life into nothing but a process, then indeed life would seem quite meaningless and without form, proper form, and this is because the material lifestyle is quite meaningless and the only reason people can keep up with the material world order is because they have either deluded themselves into the efficacy of this material enterprise or they have simply become too busy in life to even reflect over this truth: you work and work and then you die, for no apparent reason. But life was never about this to begin with and if you allow yourself to become liberated from the grip of the serpent, then you will realize what life was truly about, and indeed it has nothing to do with the creation of anything, life was never about that, for the creation was already perfect, until the seed of deceit was planted. This is why I urge you to retire from the world. Yes, to leave the world behind is hard, but it's only hard because your mind has been corrupted by the serpent and because you are not truly free. How can one man define the freedom for another man and even many other men? How can this be in keeping with the concept of freedom and ultimate liberation? What kind of freedom is this? Well, this is no kind of freedom, this is slavery and you are a slave, the beast in his most advanced form. Do not become like him. So yes, for the nihilist of course death would be preferable to continuing in life and that's why I don't judge men that decide to end their lives, but I do believe that many of those men would've been better off had they been allowed to discover the truth, but for the revolutionary elite the truth had to be taken away from them. Look, these people, the revolutionary elite will hurt you if they have to, or even worse, they will get you to hurt yourself, but this is also a topic for another time.
So what is the most rational thing to do? Well, if you don't want to die then the most rational thing to do is to throw away the concept that man can define the universe and this would even be true from a rationalist point of view: the universe simply doesn't care about you and won't notice when you're gone. So why try? Again, you're stuck in a loop that you seem unable to break free from and until you actually do, you're never going to be able to see the world from another and higher plane. If you are going to remain in the world, the material domain, then by all means embrace nihilism and become hopeless, for that would be the only reasoned thing to do, or distract yourself with a career and attempt to run away from death and to create "value" in a system that is bound to collapse under its own aforementioned contradictions. I believe that leaving the material domain behind, retiring from the world, is a form of heroism and a mark of a man of truly ascendant rank.
