My views on charity |
Monday – November 24, 2025

I am in favor of charity because I believe that there are individuals in need of help, and while this may contradict my stance that I took in my post "Collectivism & Individualism, part five", it does no such thing: indeed it is righteous to help other men, in need or not. But I do need to also add that I find that modern charity is often really just a career racket for certain individuals without proper training in any other materialist field, and as such you'll find that many people that are working for charities are female. For me, a charity is not an organization, a charity is an action, an act of giving and really the true definition of altruism, which I have partly covered in my post about selfishness, which is a rather misunderstood topic/subject in modern times. Indeed, most major metaphysical traditions teach that charity is good and needed, because there are always more people suffering in the material domain than benefiting: even in the most prosperous societies this turns out to be the case. Why? Well, because human nature is not really made for this world, and that certain mismatch between the sacred and the natural within is what leads to so much pain and suffering. Yes, there is an argument to be made for the supposed improvements of the material circumstances of most men, but even in abundance most men resent the world, because again deep within men are not meant to live in the material domain, but that's also a topic for another time. I am not interested in the political argument whether private charity or state issued welfare is better, because I don't care; as long as people are being helped I believe that something good is being done. When you transform the Earth into something else, then you have to account for the things, including the people, that you displace. Yes, I believe that the word displace really describes the modern man, he has been displaced and now he's stuck inside a cycle of materialist greed and creation. Why do you exist? Well, you exist not to live life and to understand the world; you exist to create more and more and more, so that you can uphold the capitalist production base and perpetuate consumerism. Consider yourself in the modern world: where are you supposed to head? The government and private interests own pretty much every piece of land and they will use force against you if you attempt to live authentically and in tune with nature. Yes, the government will lock you up and use violence against you, and may even kill you, if you attempt to live in the way you were meant to live. Ever since you were a child you've been taught that you live for the nation, the corporation, the civilization, etc, and if you wish to do something else, then you are quite simply insane. Of course, plenty of people that are insane aren't really mentally ill, they just refuse to live by the laws of the serpent. Freedom, what kind of freedom is this? There is no freedom in a world where you are not even allowed to think for yourself. Are you allowed to think for yourself? No, you've been made unable and you've been served helplessness. Why are you helpless? Because the proper way to live in the modern world is to be helpless; it is to stand powerless in the face of nature, while the proponents of the materialist order claim that they are superior to nature and that they can defeat nature. Yes, modern men are guilty of blaspheme! You, yes you, need charity because you are unable to live and that's because you have been made unable and that was the point. You are easy to control in your dilapidated and sorry state, when you have taken on the beastly form. But this isn't some kind of grand conspiracy, this is simply the logical conclusion of materialism, and it is a sign of our times, the Kali Yuga. So, I guess this is also true: from a very materialist perspective of self-preservation it would be stupid to not favor charity when you at the end of the day, likely in your final days, will need to rely on charity, unless you have amassed enormous wealth, which you are unlikely to do. No, there is no winning in the world, and that's why I left the world and that's also why I encourage you to leave.
There are many examples of charity in modern times, but I regard all of them as an absolute abomination that has come about because of the stupid and weird way the materialist order is constituted. This however, does not mean that there aren't charities that can't help people, but I still regard their structure as corrupt and evil, but again I am sure some people are still being helped by these organizations. I again, want to emphasize that charity isn't about organization; charity is about giving, the act of giving, a profoundly altruistic act.
