Cannibalism |

Modern societies require a form of cannibalism, spiritual cannibalism. In my recent post on sexuality, I mentioned that the very much modern concept of sexuality is a form of cannibalism, but what I meant to articulate is really that the ideology of sexualism is a precursor to cannibalism, especially the homosexual form. But what do I mean by spiritual cannibalism? Well, allow me to make my argument. In this context I am not referring to cannibalism in the material sense, although I do not in any way exclude the possible inception of a modern and material form of cannibalism either. No, by spiritual cannibalism I am referring to the demands that the materialist order and the modern world place on your soul and on your very being: when you are in doubt or when you seek knowledge you must commit a form of ritualistic suicide on your soul, and this is especially the case with the youth. This goes to my posts about Essential Spirituality and ancient wisdom, because indeed when you cannibalize your spiritual body you lack autonomy and you lack skillful means. Most major metaphysical traditions all share this insight in common: when you allow yourself to transform into the beast, you allow your soul and your connection to the transcendental plane to wither away, and in turn you become more and more reliant on your own delusions, and these delusions, or demons, will sustain you, but only in the beastly form. Why are such things as sexualism and addictions bad? Well, they are bad because of what they do to you and because of what they do to the world: it's lazy and easy to invite the serpent and to fall for his propaganda and you may even be lazy enough to not notice the destruction and depravity this will bring, at some point even the most advanced beast, the most lazy man will know that he is leading an essentially diseased and corrupt life. I gather that many people are complaining about themselves and about their own inertia and inability to move ahead, and this is because they have or are losing that ability the more they cannibalize themselves and others. Yes, the beast will eventually reach a point where he will become forced to turn to others in order to sustain a diseased lifestyle and in order to entertain his grand delusions, and this is usually the point when such things as addiction, lust, and a terrible sense of moral character starts to set in. If you are wondering about your own state, about how far you've allowed your own start to fall, ask yourself this: Am I addicted and am I unable to control my urges; really have I allowed all of the noise and all of the materialism to define how I am, am I homosexual, a heroin addict, or even a heterosexual? Why do you allow all of these material formations to govern your world? Why do you allow yourself to feel pleasure, a false pleasure, from the affirmation of others that you are indeed true to your own and true to society's delusions? If you can answer these questions in all honesty then you may be able to gain a more insightful perspective. Vital essence is what makes you true to yourself and true to your proper place within the creation, but the beast lacks vital essence, and without vital essence he essentially becomes a very sad and parasitic being, a black hole. Indeed, this is the only conclusion that should be fitting.
I do need to clarify that I don't intend to shame anyone, because I am not perfect and when I was living in the world I also struggled with many bad things, with many things that made me cannibalize myself and others. But how would the world look if the cannibals, the beasts, ruled? Well, the world would look something like how it appears today, and this is really at the core of the humanist axiom: release the beast and all of his urges, all of his frustrations onto the world, a sign of our times – the Kali Yuga. At close of this cycle, the cannibals will lay the whole world, the whole material order, in ruins, this will be a time when cannibalism will rule the world and when no man will know true beauty. Notice all of these tendencies in the world today: the cult of destruction and of primal rage is here. This is indeed unsettling, but in the end there is nothing to fear, because in my view wrath is a part of the creators divinely and lovingly inspired vengeance upon the man at the altar of the world, the man in awe of his own image, the man that fails to notice the destruction around him, the so-called reasoned man.
In the end, you can choose not to cannibalize, but this is indeed a hard thing for most men, and if you want to be completely safe then you must retire from the world and seek the light.
