What is willpower? | August 8, 2025
Willpower is in short: the ability of fewer and fewer men to actually be men, to act with the intention of creating better material circumstances for themselves and their prodigy, it is the ability of the nobleman to not be ruled by his emotions and his instincts, the ability to throw off the serpent, or rather to be invulnerable to the propaganda and the call by the serpent – such is the essence of willpower. With willpower, the most essential quality of anyone claiming to be a man seeking the enlightenment, comes considerable responsibility, and in true fashion of the cowardice, modern men have decidedly refused to take responsibility not only of their own lives, but the lives of their prodigy as well, for the propaganda of the serpent has reduced each would-be-beast to the helpless animal, under the control of his propaganda. For in world without men willing to take responsibility, there is no-one in charge, and this was indeed the intention all along of the serpent, to make men willfully embrace chaos, for chaos is the most severely draining quality on the world: it completely saps men of their willpower and with it their ability to seek the adventure. Verily, in the modern world it is considered a mental illness to seek the light and to seek the adventure, to become one with the creation. The righteous path is the only way to become fully confident in your own skin, and with that confidence you will acquire the ability to reshape the world in the image of the creator, for that is the essence of the enterprise of willpower: to ascend to a higher plane and become truly enlightened and then descend down to the Earth and guide the plebeian horde. But the willpower of the serpent is stronger in the times of the Kali Yuga, and as a result you must not be weary about the forces of destruction, for they have been made inevitable by Jehovah, the creator of the all. I prefer using the phrase "the all" instead of everything, but it means the same thing. Willpower is not however, some kind of winner takes it all logic, or indeed some kind of zero-sum game, or some kind of might means right dynamic: willpower is a natural law, and the person who hold most willpower will in the long run win, and at the present moment it cannot be said that men of ascendant rank particularly seem to hold much willpower, but indeed the serpent seems to almost hold a complete monopoly on willpower, something constructions such as states have been tailor-made to ensure, through the Darwinian medium of mass politics, a topic that I covered the other day. The force and the entity with most willpower in the creation must be said to be the creator, Yahweh/Jehovah/Adonai, and that fact makes the essence of the quality, the very human quality, that is willpower something fundamentally good and righteous, and without this quality a man may not be said to be moral and righteous, for a man who claims to operate for the benefit of all sentient life yet who lacks manly firmness cannot be said to be true to his words or live true to his own principles; such a man is not a true man at all, he is a false prophet of the lowest order. This is why the wrath that is coming is not only well deserved, also a previously discussed topic, but fundamentally righteous, for without men, only Jehovah can stomp out and cleanse the world from disease, corruption, and evil. If you seek to be released from all of these aggravating sources in your life, then seek the light and apply righteous and wrathful Bodhicitta in your own life. You may not perfect the world if you live in a world of disarray on a personal level, that would be hypocrisy.
What is the difference then, you may ask, between strength and willpower? Strength is not different from willpower, but strength to be somewhat pedantic here, is a quality that describes the subject putting something into motion: it is the subject doing some verb; whereas willpower is a particular application geared towards some object that requires a great deal of strength. It is true then you may say, that strength and ability is required for you to apply your willpower to the world. Indeed, to be sentient part of the material world, in human form or in the form of some other life, you are constantly required to show willpower, but the willpower of man is no longer being tested, for the fruits of civilization have also proven to be to the detriment of man, in the form of our current dilapidation and moral decay; you need willpower to root out the forces of corruption in the world. While I cannot and will not provide any clear examples of what willpower could mean, since this would be self-defeating, but I think of willpower as something essentially earned and with every time you successfully manage to apply your will to reshape the world into the image of God, the creator, you will earn more of its essence. Willpower is in other words: transient, and you need to keep at it to keep being strong, for without willpower you will know of no such thing in your life as strength. There is surely something triumphant about the application of willpower against the world, for every particle that is set in its proper position works towards putting the scales of the celestial order into its proper balance. By serving the cause of the sacred and divine, you are applying willpower to the world. Ask yourself this: what is willpower if not the will of God, what are you doing once you apply the power of will but enforcing God's wishes upon his creation? Let yourself move with the force and understand where that force is coming from; it is not coming from within you, it is coming from the outside and with that realization comes awesome responsibility.
