Learned helplessness

Image
Photograph of emotions By Callum Skelton Learned helplessness | Monday – December 1, 2025 In modern times people are affected by learned helplessness and this basically means that their willpower has been hijacked, or I guess another way to put it is this: modern societies are very adept at sapping people of their willpower, and as I've covered in my posts on weight loss , things and procedures that are easy and should be easy have been made very difficult. What civilization or really what culture in human history has had problems with obesity and people being overly fat? None that I can think of; this is an entirely recent and invented problem and many people will die and suffer because of it. There are of course many other aspects of life that seem impossible because of the modern world: these can include natural and also easy things or things that should be easy such as family creation, a topic I recently covered . If you seek to move in a certain direction in the modern world, ...

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush Should you create a family? Sunday – November 30, 2025 First and foremost, whether or not you should create a family is entirely up to you and I do not intend to tell you or anyone else how to live your life, but I do want to just offer some advice. Creating a family is expensive and if you're young and have no strong social safety nets and you lack a job and/or good education, then creating a family, especially introducing children to the world, will likely crash whatever economy you have. See, there are good and responsible ways to create a family, so that you and your family can suffer less. The world is not a nice place and the material domain is very much not a nice place , certainly not for kids. Yes, in the distant past when the economic infrastructure relied less on human will and input and more on nature, you could be basically more reckless when you created a family, but in this world that's just not a wise proposition....

Life in the city

Image
Photograph of Utrecht By Tanya Prodaan Life in the city | Saturday – November 29, 2025 One of the greatest aberrations in the modern world is the city, especially large cities. Indeed, for most of human history man lived close to nature and this closeness to the creation also provided comfort, wisdom, and insight, all of which have been weakened or replaced in the modern world. To live in a city surrounded by strangers is one of the most unnatural things a man can possibly do, and this unnatural lifestyle is evident in how men that live in big cities—away from the closeness to the Earth on the countryside or really in nature—act because these modern and cosmopolitan men are crude and very hard in their hearts, because they lack the closeness to the creation, to the community, and to humanity. What happens when you live in a big city is that the human infrastructure and the materialistic phase and rhythm replaces the natural flow of the creation and as a result you become completel...

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush My views on sleep | Friday – November 28, 2025 Yes, I believe that sleep, from a purely material point of view, is important and it does seem to me that most people in the modern world lack enough sleep and even if they receive enough sleep they more often than not are not receiving good sleep. I do believe that it is true to say that people who sleep poorly live shorter lives and end up developing major diseases earlier. I do also believe that it is true to say that most people that live past the age of 100 age more slowly, which is something that can be achieved, at least partially, by receiving enough sleep. Of course, I recognize that most people are trying to navigate the material domain, practically a minefield, and that the pressure of performing, against the whole world these days, often means for many people that they end up not receiving enough sleep. Of course, sleep in and of itself is a profoundly material need: your body...

Photograph of the Atlas globe Chat CONTROL! Thursday – November 27, 2025 The extra state organization known as the EU (the European Union) has proposed that all citizens, so-called "citizens" of the EU should have all of their messages, images and conversations online scanned and controlled for child pornography, which would entail enormous implications for your freedom and integrity, if you are one of these so-called citizens of the EU. As I covered in my " List of countries, corporations, and other entities that I boycott " I regard the EU as an evil organization whose goal seems to be to destroy the cultural and historical peculiarities of each of its member, because you see the paramount value for the EU seems to be the protection and facilitation of the materialist order and that requires economic and cultural integration, which essentially means that the peculiarities that define each European nation should be erased, all in the name of so-called unity. Do not...

Peace in Ukraine

Image
Photograph of Ukraine in the aftermath of a Russian attack By Dmytro Tolokonov Peace in Ukraine | Wednesday – November 26, 2025 In my post about the ongoing war in Ukraine I made it clear that I do not believe that Ukraine can or will win the war, whatever that would entail, and yes if you are a proponent of the liberal international order then it would make perfect sense for you to be offended and against the idea that a country should be "awarded" for invading another country, but there have been many other invasions throughout history and in this century as well and the proponents of the liberal world order didn't complain much when the United States engaged in their own wars of aggression in the Middle East and Afghanistan . It's clear to me that while Russia may be the victor in this war, it has not gone their way: I believe that the intention of the Russian regime was to invade the whole of Ukraine and I believe that they, the Russian regime, were very much co...

Should governments have a foreign policy?

Image
World Atlas by Illia Panasenko Should governments have a foreign policy?  Tuesday – November 25, 2025 It seems that many governments around the world, but especially those in the Imperial Core , have this tradition of adopting a foreign policy and for certain governments it's often the case that their foreign policy trumps their domestic policy. Why is this? Well, to be frank most of these governments have historically had a colonial policy and to be fair, it's rather difficult to maintain an empire without a certain policy governing that empire and in more recent times those colonial remnants that still exist around the world have compelled these governments to continue to have a certain policy towards the world. Do notice that yes, it is often the case that the more influential and large a country is, the more likely it is that the country in question has a foreign policy. The United States is perhaps the best example, but you have other countries as well such as the United ...

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush My views on charity | Monday – November 24, 2025 I am in favor of charity because I believe that there are individuals in need of help, and while this may contradict my stance that I took in my post " Collectivism & Individualism, part five ", it does no such thing: indeed it is righteous to help other men, in need or not. But I do need to also add that I find that modern charity is often really just a career racket for certain individuals without proper training in any other materialist field, and as such you'll find that many people that are working for charities are female. For me, a charity is not an organization, a charity is an action, an act of giving and really the true definition of altruism, which I have partly covered in my post about selfishness , which is a rather misunderstood topic/subject in modern times. Indeed, most major metaphysical traditions teach that charity is good and needed, because there are a...

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush Thoughts on Animism | Sunday – November 23, 2025 Animism, the practice of feeling the universe in every fiber and every being, is as old as humanity herself and in many ways I believe that animism possesses that original quality that seems to be lost in the modern world. Animism is actually still practiced in many places around the world, perhaps most prominently in Africa, but often animistic rituals and traditions have been mixed up with other metaphysical influences such as with Christianity and Islam. I believe that both West African Voodoo (Vodun) and Haitian Voodoo are prominent examples of this. But for me animism is also important because it seems to me that the intent at which a man approaches animism is more pure than when he approaches more modern metaphysical traditions: it seems that when man reaches for meaning in what otherwise seems to be inanimate objects, he is also allowed to connect with the world on a very profoun...

Dealing with rage

Image
Dechen Choekhor Four-armed Mahakala ( महाकाल ) Dealing with rage | Saturday – November 22, 2025 Anger is an emotion and much like other emotions something is usually required to evoke anger: usually this takes place in the form of a moral and sometimes material unjustified imposition on the world and as a defensive mechanism anger is evoked. But when you allow yourself to enter into a state of rage you lose grip of yourself and reality and you become completely controlled by your feelings of anger and rage and those feelings seek to destroy the world (Kali). Yes, during our times of the Kali Yuga I understand that the feeling of anger and rage can be nearby, but this is only the case as long as you live in the material domain. Consider the consequences to your life and to the lives of others if you allow your anger to get the better of you: in a split second you can both destroy your own life and that of another human being. Let's say that a man has evoked, perhaps even rightfully,...

Photograph of the Atlas globe What about COP30? Friday – November 21, 2025 Some would claim that this climate agenda is an enormous lie and fraud perpetrated by the serpent, and while this is partially true, I do believe in climate change, something you may read more about here  and here . Yes, climate change is real but the causes are not only material in nature and that question is not being raised at COP30 in Belém, Brazil. The United Nations, an organization I regard to be evil, continues to organize in favor of the serpent and the revolutionary elite and really against ordinary people. Yes, human beings have caused climate change, but what are the solutions according to the United Nations (The UN)? Well, it tends to sound something like this: more countries have to do more to curb global warming and "inequities" have to be addressed, which is a fancy way of saying that the so-called global-north has to pay up, and of course the money will go to corrupt governments in the...

Yahweh in  (יהוה‎) : Moses and the Burning Bush My views on contraceptives | Thursday – November 20, 2025 I am in favor of contraceptives for a couple of reasons: I do not believe that it would be a great idea to put a child to the world that may not have parents who love her; as I covered in my post about abortion , I do believe that every life is precious but I do not believe that stopping or hindering that life from being created is the same action as abortion; I also believe that yes, actually women do have autonomy as many moderns would put it, and I see no reason to restrict this autonomy when it comes to contraception. There's also talk about the potential development of contraceptives that may work on males, but I need more information about those in order for me to form a coherent opinion. All in all, I do not believe that stopping life from being created is immoral and indeed it could even be construed that doing so, hindering the creation of life, is a sign of God's ...

Should you welcome immigrants?

Image
Photograph of a "Sidewalk Flower Vendor" By Tim Mossholder Should you welcome immigrants? Wednesday – November 19, 2025 The short answer is yes, but the long answer is maybe. I realize that humanity is currently moving through a major historical junction that will see profound demographic shifts due to such things as globalization and immigration. But I hold that any righteous man should and has a duty to open his home to a stranger in need. Yes, it would be quite immoral to turn immigrants away, especially from the perspective of God. Would God turn away his own son? No, he would not. Yes, I do realize that there are many materialist arguments in favor and against immigration, but here I am trying to provide a spiritual and metaphysical argument in favor of welcoming that stranger in need. After all and perhaps especially in the material domain, aren't we all strangers in need? What is this world but a hell created by man and his need to break and destroy? Yes, man can ...
