Learned helplessness |
Monday – December 1, 2025

In modern times people are affected by learned helplessness and this basically means that their willpower has been hijacked, or I guess another way to put it is this: modern societies are very adept at sapping people of their willpower, and as I've covered in my posts on weight loss, things and procedures that are easy and should be easy have been made very difficult. What civilization or really what culture in human history has had problems with obesity and people being overly fat? None that I can think of; this is an entirely recent and invented problem and many people will die and suffer because of it. There are of course many other aspects of life that seem impossible because of the modern world: these can include natural and also easy things or things that should be easy such as family creation, a topic I recently covered. If you seek to move in a certain direction in the modern world, you will likely face overwhelming resistance from yourself: yes you've been programmed to think that you can't do anything on your own, that you need to be taught how to live and how to interact with the world and how to just exist. This is a remarkable development and it didn't happen overnight: it's a sign of our times, the Kali Yuga. What men in previous times would find themselves unable to take action? No-one and if they did then they would quickly suffer because of it. Yes, most people do not wish to suffer and so they act in ways that make then not suffer or make them suffer less, but this seems rather impossible in the modern world, where you don't really suffer in the same way: instead modern people suffer from a form of mass psychosis and once you begin to stray away from the horde, the populist horde you are no longer covered so to speak, you are no longer camouflaged against the herd, a topic that I have also briefly covered in my "Collectivism & Individualism series". Yes, it's remarkable that today for the first time in history people with less material means are on average fatter than those of higher material means and I am sure that this will amaze future historians when they look back at this peculiar turning point in human history, that is if there are any humans in large and civilized numbers around in the future, but that's a topic for another post. But when you look at that pathetic and sad figure in the mirror every morning, do you really feel that this is you and that this is your full potential? I don't think so, yet you are seemingly unable to move away from your bad habits. You may as well take up smoking at this point, right? Yes, you are a sad and pathetic creature, but you are also a product of your times: your disgusting and diseased and really decomposing body is a sign of the Kali Yuga and yes your fatness and your inability to control your destiny is in keeping with the profound moral decline going on all around you. To think that your shape tells you something about yourself would of course be considered "offensive" and trailblazing by the proponents of the humanist axiom. Also, I like to use that word "trailblazing", because liberals seem to love to label their opponents this, which I must admit is funny. I actually find "trailblazing" to be a really stupid and annoying word and I hope that I never have to use it again! Anyways back to learned helplessness. I don't believe that people choose to be helpless, because the world is more nuanced and complicate: I believe that as I've stated multiple times in the past that people basically enter into a "Stockholm syndrome" in most modern societies, and this is really what happens when you feel completely helpless, you need to rely on something and/or someone, so allow the revolutionary elite to guide you to the edge of the cliff, and then you do the rest and since you don't know better you just follow the horde, the populist horde. Yes, it's easy for me to write this, but I know this because I also used to live in the world, the material domain. But in our times most people want you to be "accredited" if you should speak or happen to share an opinion on any subject, which really just is another form of subtle propaganda. Do you need to hold your daddy? Yes, you do, unless you are a man of true rank.
So what can you do to become less helpless? Well, I think the first action you can and should take is to simply turn off society and since society is all around you at every moment you probably need to turn off the internet, which means that you will have to cease reading this blog for a while and maybe perhaps forever, as you gain true grounding. Yes, it will be very difficult at first, but as time goes on and as you start to cleanse yourself from all propaganda, you will start to gain a new perspective and really profound insight. What does it mean to binge eat? I don't know but I do know that you are doing that thing with technology and really information: yes, your informational landscape is likely saturated with emotionalism and other forms of propaganda to make you feel helpless. This is why you in the end will have to walk away from the world or fall. I also believe that women are more likely to live a life of complete helplessness and this is because most women operate under the assumption that they are meant to be conquered, without realizing that they've already been conquered by the serpent, and so they go around in the world and expect someone else to solve all of their problems, and this would surely explain the inception of the welfare state. Yes, in a world where women in particular are supposedly independent and strong, there's a certain need for a basic social safety net that otherwise used to be provided for by her husband or conqueror. It would seem then clear that women have instinctively embraced the most advanced, depraved, and radical forms of modern life. Of course, men are also helpless but it does seem that at least they tend to be more aware of this, compared to women.
No, I don't believe that learned helplessness is acceptable, but I also find that most people have no real intentions of actually taking action, but this is as I've stated in keeping with the Kali Yuga: most people will not, because they are not supposed to, resist the material order. As long as you keep yourself helpless you will be helpless and you will suffer. Yes, life is essentially suffering, but you do not suffer less in the material domain. Men really become sick and depraved in this world.
