Fear!
Thursday – February 5, 2026

Are you afraid? I hope not, but the people in power want to keep you afraid, something that I've already lightly covered here. See, modern propaganda, something that I've also covered in the past, works not by attempting to re-direct your attention but rather by overwhelming your attention, to the point where you just give up on the concept of an objective reality all together, this is also relevant in my post "The end of history". I don't intend on going over things that I've already described in the past, and that's why I keep linking to past posts. But, fear is a very important tool that can completely re-shape reality or the way you and most other people relate to reality, because fear is an emotion that is able to override whatever other faculties you rely on to orient yourself in the world, especially your rational mind, but also to an extent in your supra-rational mind; however, when it comes to your supra-rational mind, most of this faculty is already evading you and most other people. The point of fear then, becomes control and with fear you can mobilize vast numbers of people, again because these people are motivated by fear and this fear has reached such an intensity that their rational mind is overridden, and this really is the point of departure from the last and lowest stage of humanity to a kind of lesser than human form; men that are motivated by fear alone, that is men that allow their fear to dictate their actions, are indeed no such thing as men, and I believe that one of the best definitions of a man, independent of his metaphysical standing in the world, is that of a person that is able to control his emotions, fear in particular, and instead rely on these emotions to navigate both the social landscape and the terrestrial landscape in a skillful manner, an ability that most modern men seem to be lacking, effectively stripping them of the right to claim to be men. Another way of conceptualizing the problem of a man controlled by his fear is to picture a formless man, a man essentially without destiny and ability, a man in name and superficial contours only, really a man of the mass, the soldier in service of the material order. Indeed, that so-called man does not deserve the title of a man, for he is a being lower than man. The reason why I bring up fear is because it seems to me here at the "end of history", that modern men are more afraid than what they've ever been before. Why is this? Well, there are several explanations for this apparent behavior, but media and other forms of propaganda are doubtless part of the explanation, and yes there is one explanation for this, but that explanation requires a synthesis of understanding based on true knowledge, not that incessant compartmentalization and multiplication that archives nothing but further problems. Another part of this explanation is of course that modern so-called men are more cowardly than their ancient counterparts, but the reason for this has nothing to do with cowardice in the sense of a kind of dereliction of duty; no, quite the opposite actually. See, the reason why modern so-called men are more cowardly is because so much more are expected of them, while the nihilism of the material method, so to speak, never satisfy their need for meaning and insight, and since every man is expected, nay demanded, to be equal to every other man in every material aspect imaginable the vast majority of men constitute that large mass of aimless people without hope, destiny, and meaning, and these masses of aimless men become very easily manipulated by the revolutionary elite; this is why a state of affairs that is abjectly unnatural is accepted and so far sustained, not that this state of confusion can or will be sustained much further. Indeed, what man would not be cowardly or weak or feeble in a role that does not properly belong to his domain, a role of which he is wholly incapable of? Such are the consequences of a metaphysical order that has become completely inverted, read democracy.
It was once said by Karl Marx that "religion is the opium of the masses"; religion in this context being the material and exoteric (outwardly) manifestation of the primordial tradition. Of course, the truth in this statement has little to do with the institution of organized religion, but it's worth noting that organized religion has fear in common with the propaganda of the serpent, and that indeed much of the exterior, having little to do with doctrine, in the religious form is built upon fear and a reliance on men simply "believing" rather than knowing, and it is really this lack of knowledge, or negation really, that enables men to fall pray for the hope of belief in the face of fear, that belief always being placed in a future, may that be the ideological future, which is the most common tendency today. Indeed, much, if not all, of the material order is built on mere hope and belief, and no-one can truly claim to know anymore, not even scientists who are always happier than most people to simply believe in nothing and hope for everything. My point being, if anything is the "opium of the masses" it must surely be fear? What else motivates men to such an extent that they are prepared to challenge the nihilistic notion that permeates the entire metaphysical landscape of the modern world? To what end do all of these financial instruments, banks, markets, etc, so ceaselessly dedicate all of their ability to further divide matter into multiplicity upon multiplicity? Indeed, modern civilization keeps digging, despite the apparent "reason" to just submit to the wind, but this contradiction at the core of the modern world is never addressed, thus the metaphysical crisis facing modern man is not understood as such, something that can only lead to more and more fanaticism and totalitarianism.
The negation of true knowledge doesn't change the nature of the creation, and as long as men pretend to be something that they are not, the more the world will fall apart, as fear is turned into a false sense of hope the world will only further devolve from the primordial tradition, really as principles become more and more manifestly divergent from the source. Yes, to be a modern man is to stand in the midst of all this chaos, this metaphysical crisis, and really this should be overwhelming to most men, since most men are not adept enough to deal with a crisis on this scale; such are the results of a social organism in complete disunity and heterogeneity, the dysfunctional elements only amplify each other, as the few remnants of metaphysical unity become more and more evasive and suppressed; the monster of modern civilization has really started to acquire a kind of autonomy. What man would not react with overwhelming fear under these circumstances?
