Leaving the west |
Tuesday – January 20, 2026

The political, cultural and economic situation in the Western world, in particular in Europe, can only be described as catastrophic, and this is only in regards to its material state; here I haven't even begun to describe the intellectual fall of western traditions, especially the church. While I am no longer in the world, I can say this to anyone aspiring to higher understanding – leave the western world behind while you still can, this is something you may read more about in my "Future series". I also need to make it clear that there is no hope for a restoration without a great cataclysm, but do not despair, for this is a necessary thing, read destruction. But yes, on a personal note, and this is a personal note, I must encourage anyone who claims to be serious about these matters, to leave the western world behind, and to seek refuge in the East and in Africa. This does mean that whatever part of your character you consider to be western has to go, and you have to become initiated in one of the serious doctrines to be found in the East. I can recommend studying Islam, because Islam is Near Eastern and probably more approachable to you than the Middle Eastern traditions of India, or the Eastern traditions of China. But I can't make that decision for you; only you can decide to seek the light, and this is the first step towards becoming initiated in any of the great and profound metaphysical traditions. Quick note on the terms Near East and Middle East: today these terms are considered outdated and even "offensive", but it would be more accurate to use these terms to label the Islamic and the Hindu worlds; Near East for the Islamic world and Middle East for the Hindu world, but more on this at another time. Another thing that that you must do, if you seek to leave the west, is to drop any imagined relationships or duty to the west, and this is particularly a phenomena, it would seem at any rate with people with more conservative inclinations, which is metaphysically counterproductive. Your alliance should be to knowledge, to the doctrines, not to any of the ever multiplying materialisms such as "nation", "people", and state, and for many men with potential, even great potential, this seems hard, because these materialisms provide some sort of meaning and security, a false security. I gather as well, that the best way of becoming initiated into another, outwardly foreign, tradition is to meet with the guru halfway, and this means to see within other initiates of that tradition yourself, preferably these initiates should have a similar background to you, and though these "middle men", you will have a much easier time, becoming initiated, but this also means that you will leave the western world behind, again something that many will struggle with. This is also why a man with great potential is a very different creature from a man that has attained a higher rank; both men were purely potential at one time, but they no longer inhabit the same ontological plane. The man of great potential is still existing on the lowest level, that of pure materialism. Another quick note: if you intend to leave the west you should only do this in order to become initiated into another tradition; leaving the west should in no way be thought of as some kind of political manifestation against the contemporary order, and always know that your departure won't be noticed and certainly not recorded. To leave the west in order to approach the summit of the mountain is not about individualism or any other such expressions, it's about a sincere attempt to embrace a more skillful approach to the metaphysical nature of the world. I do not intend to provide any information about particular destinations, since that is outside the scope of this post; again I recommend you to read my "Future series" for more information about that.
To leave the Western world behind is a personal decision and by no means a guarantee of success, not that success should be the goal anyways, but here I am confined to the mores and norms of the western mind, and to most westerners, it would be quite inconceivable to not act in a manner that isn't materially selfish. But I do also want to leave this note here: while westerners have a tradition of violence and suppression of non-liberal expressions, this doesn't mean that this attitude is expressed in the East; quite the contrary actually, but yes there are corners of resistance against western imperialism and oppression, but this is understandable.
Lastly, I do not believe that there's much of any primordial tradition left in the west, and the people capable of reviving this tradition seems to not exist, and this is why I see little reason in trying to revive something that is in a state that cannot be approached by living men, but this is also a topic for another discussion, but I will point out that some scholars have made the case that with the help of Eastern masters, something of the Western tradition could be revived, and this could be the main reason for leaving the West behind, but then only if you intend to return to the West in an attempt to initiate persons with great potential, but again this discussion falls outside the scope of this post. I do call on every man of ascendancy and potential to seek the light, wherever possible, and if this means to leave the Western world behind, then I can only encourage this.
