Working out |
Thursday – January 29, 2026
In my post "Should you exercise?", I wrote that you should exercise, and this is still my view, but I felt it necessary to qualify this standpoint. See, by exercising I am not merely referring to physical exercise, but really to exercising in general, but yes that post, I don't remember that much of it, seems to mostly focus on physical exercise. I do need to add this: I see no reason for a man to ever wish to go to one of these modern, hip, and progressive "gyms", spaces that can only really be described as a meeting for bizarre and almost histrionic people; no a man in his right mind should want no such company. Apart from being a space or a spot where very strange and often sexually deviant persons meet, the gym appears to be a very progressive space, and indeed the entire concept of physical exercise is a progressive notion, and to any man in previous generations the concept that you should have to "work out" in a separate space, often around individuals of the opposite gender, would seem completely incomprehensible. Of course, in the past, working out was never something that a man had to actively put himself to do, but the slovenly and unhygienic lifestyle of modern men demands that the few that want to keep their body healthy should do this at one of these designated gyms, which is another sign of our times, read my views on the vocation as well. I also believe that working out can and should serve certain temporal purposes, but the main purpose of working out is to attain a metaphysical connection with your body, often through physical hardship or really by overcoming the physical and material constraints of life; this overcoming can enable men to rise above the material order. Of course, there are understandable reasons as to why most men cannot simply work out outside of designated spaces, but this is yet another lack of skill: if you are living a lifestyle that allow your body to becomes diseased and dilapidated, then you're already not doing the right thing, but this goes to show the grip that the revolutionary elite holds over your mind; what seems possible and even decent is very hard to attain. Are you therefore destined to become a fat person, a product of your time? No, but again, let the archetype of the fat person be your savior, or in other words: beware of the temptation. But yes, again I do need to just make it clear that I have no interest and no views in common with people who "work out", as the moderns call it, for the purpose of attaining material circumstances more to their liking, or even for the more sinister purpose of "working out" in order to enable the vanguard of the revolution; this seems more and more common among certain very radical individuals and indeed the concept of "militaristic combat" is one of these modern bastards, or attempts to recreate the martial arts. Do not allow yourself to fall victim to these modern and confused illusions of the past, something I mentioned the other day in my post about "Agenda 2030". Also, do not fall victim to the primitive and caveman-like tendency, that is to value the character of men based on their perceived physical and material status; this status is yet another modern and inverted hierarchy, and this is especially expressed in the Western world, where such things as the warrior spirit has been extended to describe almost any man, because action is valued above contemplation to such a degree that most westerners feel contempt in their hearts towards the Brahmin (ब्राह्मण) archetype, which is a western misunderstanding of the quality of masculinity.
Essentially, all talk of "working out" and exercising your body are western misunderstandings, and the continual western attempt recreate a "good health" is just another expression of the reign of quantity, the process of becoming is parallel with the process of attaining health; how can this possibly be considered something to take seriously? Well, most people do take their health seriously, but mostly because of hysteria and panic. You see, most people worry about their perceived health shortcomings precisely because of this material and statistical hysteria, and the modern solution is therefore an explosion of confusion and fury in what amounts to a very futile effort of running away from the inevitable, read "Never trust your body!". Then, apart from the health aspect, there are those slightly more subtle and even more pernicious reasons why people decide to work out: these include what I previously mentioned about the vanguard mentality inherent in the progressive enterprise of modern physiology, really the concept that you have a certain duty to work out your body for the benefit of the super collective, and in turn that you have a duty to sacrifice your body to this imposed super collective, especially in an emergency, and this is most aggressively expressed in the modern confusion of mass mobilization and universal compulsory conscription. None of these reasons are any good and the means of attaining these goals or really material calls are also not good; really I would go as far as to assert that the entire enterprise of modern physical exercise, let's call it "work out", is an enormous fraud, and never believe, not for one second, that this "work out" will benefit you in any way, and even if there are material reasons to work out, these reasons show the lack of intellectualism and real knowledge inherent in this modern "work out" ideology, because this attitude can only be labeled an ideology.
If you are not a warrior, that's okay; most men are not warriors because this was not the intention of the creator. Really, only very few men can amount to warriors, and these few men who possess a sincere warrior spirit are nowhere to be found in this modern and corrupted work-out-industry; indeed, this confusion is, for the most part at any rate, yet another reason to perpetuate capital and the further division and multiplication of already defined matter. When will these people discover new matter, and by this I mean new matter? Of course, such a question is nonsensical to profane the sciences.
