I began writing this blog in May 2025, and according to the statistics of this blog page, I have had +30 000 views, which amounts to slightly more than 100 views, on average, per day, but I am under no illusion that real people are actually reading this page, but that's not an issue for me, because I am writing this blog for reasons entirely different than any attempt at to prop up my own vanity, which you can read more about here. It's quite frankly clear to me that almost no real person has been reading this blog, and that's because no-one, at least so far, has been engaging with this blog: I've received no comments, not email, and no other engagement. This means that the vast majority of those +30 000 views are bots and myself of course. I can't exactly calculate my own views, or rather how many times I've viewed this page, but it should probably be in the thousands, because I do need to interact with this page and every time I reload the page, which is a necessary thing for me to do on occasion, that counts as a view and my attempts to install a kind of "plug in" that would ensure that my own interaction with this page isn't counted has so far been to no avail. At most, I would guess that my own interaction with this page makes up no more than 10 000 of the so-called views on this page, but that still leaves about 20 000 views that I myself can't possibly have generated through mere interaction with this page. In fact, according to statistics, without revealing my own location, about 1/3 of the views originate from the country I reside in, which checks out, but again that means that the other 2/3 of views on this blog comes from other countries or really other people, but those "people" are very likely not real. I would guess that maybe, at most, a couple of hundred people might have actually and organically interacted with this page, but of those, let's say, 20 000 views about 99.9% are bots. This means that I need to make it clear to whatever audience that may be reading this, that I have no connection to those bots, and the likely explanation for this pretty intense bot activity is that there are more and more bots just scanning the internet than ever before, but again I have no role in that, and if you are a real person reading this page then I would appreciate if you actually did interact with this page in the manner expected of a human being, by perhaps leaving a comment or liking a post, which since this page is connected to "blogger" would require you to acquire or use a Google account. Of course, another way for me to know that there are mostly bots that "view" and interact with this page is by virtue of the contact form: there are two ways to contact me and not a single person has used the "contact form", which would require you to pass a CAPTCHA check, which is designed to stop bots, but plenty of so-called people, bots, have contacted me through the Proton Mail that is attached to this page, etherealinsight@protonmail.com, and most of those so-called people, again bots, have bizarre names and often tend to send emails at odd hours and often in short succession, which again is a strong indication of "bot activity". Again, I do not care about this, but I just need to clarify that I have no part in the fact that so many bots are seemingly visiting this page. It is true that this page is listed number one on google, and there is perhaps some chance that I have somewhat overestimated the amount of bots visiting this site, and maybe 99.9% was an exaggerated guess, but the bot to human ratio, if you will, is likely to far exceed 1, and my guess is that at least 80% of the so-called views on this page are simply just bots interacting with this page that have been counted as views. I could decide to add a CAPTCHA to this entire page and that way block all bots, but since no-one seems to actually be reading this page, I do not believe it to be a good idea to put up too many barriers that are likely to turn away whatever few people that are actually interested in this page. Again, I have no interest in public recognition or vanity, and if not a single person is reading this page, I still intend to go on. I expect the problem of bots outnumbering real humans on the internet to grow in the coming years, and that should be expected, and I guess too that this is a part of that tendency that I have written about in the past, read the end of history.
On another note still connected to bots, I must admit that is is an interesting phenomena that so much of the internet simply runs on false interactions, again on bots interacting, and the phenomena of bots arguing with others bots is really amusing, and I guess this is yet another reason why you should disconnect from the internet, which you may read more about here. But the overall issue with bots goes to how fear is propagated on the internet and really how fear and manipulation of information is used to confuse people about reality, and in this part bots play an integral role. I can't say that my page is of any particular interest to most people or indeed to any particular actor, and the bots interacting with my page probably don't originate from an attempt to promote my page for some "agenda"; very likely this average of 100 bots "viewing" my page every day is just a normal background level of activity caused by bots simply scanning the internet for people to scam, again this is an important note to make clear, and while I am making that note clear I should again emphasize that I represent no temporal power and that I have no interest in promoting anything other than metaphysical truths, sincere knowledge, and this is why it was important for me to clarify my intention with this page, once again; if you are more interested in finding out information about me then you should continue to read this series "Personal Notes series" as well as my "About me" page.
Lastly, and this would be outside the domain of my current powers, the best solution to deal with bots could be to simply count views that meet certain prerequisites: a view should only be counted if a human has checked the "cookies" button and/or if the connection with the server, where this page is stored, has lasted more than 15 seconds; anything that doesn't meet those requirement should, in my view, simply not be counted as a view. I could also decide to not worry about the view count on this page, and I am considering removing the view counter since I don't regard most of those "views" as real and sincere views, and also since I have no interest in lying; I do not regard the current view count as a lie, but it exists within a grey-zone that, in my view, pushes too much against the limits of truthfulness. If my view count suddenly disappears, then I will provide more information on my "INFO" page.
