Life Under the Sun |
Tuesday – June 30, 2026
For millennia the Sun in the sky represented the God Almighty over the Earth and subsequently over human power, the God that gave life to every breath, really the God who gave and gave without asking for anything in return – indeed the Sun God was not only eternal but the one source, the one source that gave light, that provided justice and cosmological equilibrium, really the Sun is and was always the greater light, read Genesis 1:16. This depiction of the Sun as a powerful God, most often the most powerful God is nothing new, as alluded to above, and if there is something truly universal about the human experience, the human condition if you will, it must be the reign of the Sun during the day and the reign of the lesser Sun, the Moon, during the night. You see, what I am getting at here is actually the intrinsic structure of the universe and of life itself: it is the case that for anything to be able to move forward in existence, it has to be released from its primordial state of pure potential, it must become realized in whatever manner appropriate at the moment. Of course, the naturalists are all the more happy to assert some kind of mechanism and evolutionism to this fact, but at the very least most of them still acknowledge this fact of life, for it is a fact in the same way that the Sun reign during the day and the Moon reign during the night. Further, this motif of the day and the night is important because what we must consider about the Sun is that it exist in the positive; the Sun a quality and a quantity that is there despite the seemingly negative default of its absence, and therefore one must conclude that whatever principles beyond human power and human knowledge that the Sun represents that it represents something far superior than its absence, which really would amount to nothing. Now, it is surely the case that profane science lacks any real and enduring principles beyond negativism and mechanism and really the subversion of knowledge, but what we can learn from profane science is actually that the lesser light, the Moon, is merely reflecting the Sun, which is true, and which further means that the Moon represents nothing but a placeholder for the Sun, and really the Moon's ability to reflect the Sun seems like nothing more than a mere coincidence. Yet, the Moon does still bring light, faint though it is, much needed light and so it would be proper from both a merely corporeal and material point of view and from a metaphysical point of view to label the Moon a "lesser light". So far I do not anticipate much disagreement on this point, although there are always rascals out there... The point that I am trying to "bring home" is that light truly is universal, a theme of life, and above all the Sun came to represent one God and one God only or one God among many Gods because it so clearly gave life to everything that enabled mankind to live, all of this in full accordance not only with Genesis but with all the major revealed traditions of the world. Of course, something that I will return to at another time is the recurring theme of the primordial waters, also something mentioned indirectly in Genesis or rather something that is understood indirectly in Genesis and in accordance with the Tanakh (תָּנָ״ךְ), but for more on Genesis read my "Bible Study series".
Even someone like a drug addict should be able to understand everything that has been dealt with hitherto, unless he is completely delirious and lost to history. Of course, I should mention that exceptions may always need to be granted, for this dope filled world is so full of bums that it is actually rather hard to comprehend their sorry and dilapidated state as well as the sorry and dilapidated state of the world, and truly these people are not living under the Sun for they are representing a microcosm of the current cosmological environment, read "The Eschatology of the Kali Yuga"; these people are currently inhabiting an alternate reality, read "What is Mental Illness?", in which their Kingdom of Satan has almost completely shut out the brilliant rays of the Sun and without the light, the greater light, any hope of recovery. Again, let these people stand as an example of the current state of affairs, for the light gives life to the plants, and the plants give life to everything that lives on Earth, read Genesis chapters 1 and 2, and humanity depend on the environment and really the overriding principle that is light, for without the greatest principle of them all (the light) there could be no life and subsequently no substance; really substance must therefore be a principle subordinate to essence, life must be subordinate to light and light must be subordinate to God and in the first instance of the creation there was light, again read Genesis 1:1. The fact the Sun exists at all should be taken as the final sign, and it should enable any man in his right mind to remove any doubt. Of course, I should mention that understanding the Sun as a metaphysical principle is quite different from understanding the Sun as an object or as a material quantity, and until you are able to cast aside any doubt and really seek beyond the corporeal you are not likely to understand this. And while it is true that the Sun gives light, it also blinds, and this is also significant for as I stated in my Bible study series: wherever there is light, there must be darkness; the shadow must follow the light, really the shadow must descend to the Earth before the light can enable men to ascend beyond the Earth.
Lastly, if modern men are so concerned with unifying principles—really what they are concerned with is uniformity—then why do they not consider the Sun, really why do they not pray to the Sun if they truly have lost all faith and all religiously, all exoterism? The answer is obvious: modern men pray to the altar of materialism and to them what is the Sun but a memory of days gone by, a memory of so-called primitive modalities that no longer hath any place in modernity? Surely pushing the Sun aside will have consequences? Indeed...
What I have been trying to relay here today is the enduring message of the Sun: of life and the intrinsic meaning of the Universe; this is the message that should be taken away from this post. Really, if you cannot even fathom the Sun, how can you possibly understand the Supra-Human order?
