The Problem of Borders |
Thursday – April 30, 2026

Borders define our world, particularly international borders, largely because the modern mentality in its attempt to quantify everything within reach of the sensible leans into compartmentalization of all kinds, read particularly "Nation-States".
For every quality that the moderns attempt to quantify, they have to impose limitations, and while they may seem arbitrary, which they are in a way, they are actually necessary, because if something is supposedly quantifiable, there must exist some number or some representation in the number plane that describe the outer limit, usually a lower and upper limit or bound, of the object in question, the object in view, and even if it is quite impossible to reach an exact and stable number or representation, it is often more than adequate to take the limits and allow the extension of the number line to work as the ultimate limit or border for the particular compartmentalization at hand or in question, such as the case with nation-states, specifically the borders defining them. Indeed, after all, it seems that for the most part, modern states, again the nation-state, are defined by their borders, and those borders are often very precise, and within those borders the particular revolutionary elite of some very much distorted and deviated tradition, or perhaps outwardly shaped by some deviated tradition, rules supreme, read "Temporal Power", and this supreme rule is never in doubt, never in question, and within this realm, the nation-state, their rule is always rectified across the entire real in an even manner, and in sense I suppose you could gather at this point, that the idea of international borders have all the more to do with the power of different material interests; at the border between two different jurisdictions, again nation-states, ends and begins, depending on your point of view, their rule, but you may never pass into some realm where their rule is never supreme and absolute, such realms are relegated to the past these days. Again, I have written extensively about the subject of nation-states, read here, and the fact is, it bears repeating, their authority is nonexistent, and they represent a perversion and deviation of true authority.
Borders then, become nothing but imaginary lines drawn on a map,  because they have no real legitimacy, no real authority, and yes nation-states, read about "Modern Warfare" very much have the power and capability, in the crudest and most corporeal sense, to impose their beastly will through power, but they cannot, by definition of their quantitative and unqualified character, exert and even command true authority. The same goes for borders and limitations of other kinds: they may have the crude and corporeal power to seem real and in this manner command a kind false respect, but in the end, these concepts of profane science are devious and malefic, read "Sacred Medicine". The same could of course be said about modern manifestations of a kind of confused and deviated magic, read "Sorcery & Mysticism": notice how they are all very clearly defined and conceptualized to appeal to the stupid and ignorant, truly a kind of commercialization that goes hand in hand with compartmentalization.
The loss of knowledge, truth, meaning, and above all essence can never be accounted for later by yet more quantitative adoptions that require further compartmentalization and limitation. Yes, all of this should be imagined as a kind of digging deeper and deeper into the ground: how can a man dwelling below the earth see the heavens and the brilliant rays from the sun; indeed, how can that man ever be overcome by admiration for the creation? After all, what all of these limits, borders attempt to do, is to capture something essential in a solidified and determined form, as if it was even quite possible to capture the qualified in pure potential, a kind of representation, read more about this in my "Collectivism & Individualism series". Is it then not so strange that individualism should promote so much confused collectivism, read "Identity Politics"? Besides, why should the qualified ever yield to the lesser; why should principles of a higher order make themselves or be made available to the audience of a far lesser order, read "Disintegration" and "Hierarchy"? Can the true identity of anything even be established without essence? Of course not, for a world without essence would be quite impossible, as such a world would have to be placed outside manifestation altogether.
Take the efficacy of ideas, read more about that here, where would it be prudent to draw the line between one idea and the other? Well, most philosophers would fail to answer that question, at least if the same quantitative and limitative approach is required in their answer, as the claims of one idea would have to negate all the claims of some other idea, but this is essentially not possible, and usually most people adhere to this general notion. So, would it be necessary then for philosophers to turn to metaphysics? No, at least not among moderns, and here is where the concept of extension appears: whenever limits cannot be imposed in a mathematically and quantitatively adequate manner—why not in a "democratic manner"—extension is required, and of course, it would be possible to extend or take some limit to infinity or zero if needed, and this is true both as a generalized concept and in the corporeal sense. Let us then return to the matter of international borders again: most mathematicians would agree that it is, for the most part, not possible to establish the exact limits of the frontier between two states, and this is why this seemingly impossible problem has to be taken to its extreme mathematical and quantitative end, and indeed there have been multiple wars fought over this approach, usually regarding how this method of taking limits has been applied disparately across this line that never seem to quite manifest itself in the real world – truly an imaginary and virtual limit yet so powerful.
As long as men continue to worship fantasy and imagination, the world will continue to degenerate, but then again all of this should be taken as a sign of our times – the Kali Yuga. Yes, borders, limits, really compartmentalization, may define our world, but only the world below the surface, the world of the beastly modality, read "Enlightenment".
