Anxiety & Meaning |
Friday – July 17, 2026

Some of my readers are weary, O' Lord. I pray for them, and I pray for their families; I pray that they will find the light at the end of the tunnel and that they will rejoice in the heavenly beauty of providence, read "Why, for Whom, and What do We Pray?". Indeed, providence is on my mind again and providence is also a topic that I am going to cover in this latest post of this "Answering Readers series". If you are also feeling anxious and if you are seeking, then you should read this post. If you are interested in my previous post in this series, covering a man's sorted life, you may find that post here. I should continue to remind you all, because of reasons having to do with "The Law of The Land", that I am not a professional in the sense that I have been issued any kind of certificate or degree by the state; I am again writing this in order to protect myself from the law, and really I am shutting them, the politicians, up by not giving them any reasons to fight with me, read "Should You Break Rules?".
The question that I am dealing with in this post is sensitive, as they tend to be, and I am going to do my best to attempt to answer it in a very honest way, as honestly as I can. Now, there is always room for improvement, but it would simply become intolerable if I had to constantly improve everything that have been, everything that has been said, everything that has been written, and everything that has been committed to in conspicuous communication, for it was never my intention to be misunderstood, but this is also why the reader—you—must take responsibility as well; really, reading and writing is a two-way street. Now, I must admit that I was not confused by this question, because I tend to be confused by some questions but not this one, which is good, but this also does not mean that I am unable to commit mistakes, as I explained above. There are also within the letter containing the question no strange abbreviations or words that I would need to declare and define later, which will also bring this particular post up to speed, at least compared with some others. As usual, I will indicate a change that I deem necessary for reasons of editorialization—within the letter that I quote—by using brackets ([text]). Again in this particular letter that I received I deem that there is no reason for me to engage in controlled editorializing, which is why I have decided to leave the letter as it is in my quotation. If you still find the letter that I quote offensive, then you may complain about this in the comment section below; I will also reiterate that I will likely not answer any comments about a particular text outside its relevant comment section, that is the comment section annexed to this page below the text; again, following these instructions are wholly your responsibility. As for the tone of the letter, I have no comments at this time, but the tone of the letter may still affect my approach.
Again, before I can proceed to quote the relevant parts of the letter, I should also inform every reader that the person that wrote me this letter and asked me for advice has given me permission to publish their name and certain other privileged information about them, here again this would include occupation and social status. I should also state that I have decided to not redact any parts of this letter as it was a short and concise letter, and really every part of the letter is relevant in one way or another.
    Mr. Sri Sri Krishna asks:
"Hello Mr. Dutt, you are are a scholar. I am writing to you because I have anxiety and don’t understand the meaning of life. Why am I here? My brother was killed in a car accident, does this mean that God hated him? I am a construction worker from Hyderabad, India with one wife and two kids. I was born in the year 2004. I am Hindu and I do not belong to the caste system. I was born outside the castes." — Sri Sri Krishna
Again, as I mentioned above, I have not edited any portion of this letter/question to me. This letter is being presented fully unedited, which is why you should move on from any hangups concerning the style and tone.
Mr. Krishna, in your letter to me you have raised a profound question regarding the nature of providence and of the existential challenge of finding comfort in the facts of life, really in the material conditions that you are currently forced to face on an everyday basis, how you must confront yourself in the man that you truly are behind the veil and the lies of the modern world, behind that facade. I am also noting that you are young, by modern standards, which is why you should really appreciate life as an opportunity to change and become better, become better not for your own sake, but for the sake of God (Brahman, ब्रह्मन्), for only God can actually make you better, only God can actually improve anything in your life, read "Self-Improvement?". Yes, you are born outside of the caste system, which means that you are a Dalit (दलित) and this is actually important information about yourself that I will return to later. Now, the fact that you have anxiety and the fact that a lot of people have anxiety in this dope filled world is not so strange; in fact, read "Stress!", most people experience anxiety on a regular basis these days, because the commotion of the modern world is not normal and you would really have to be very hard not to be broken by all of this noise and all of this pressure; really the world is far more fragile in a very existential sense today than at any other point in history, which confirms that we indeed are living through the Kali Yuga (कलियुग), read "The Eschatology of the Kali Yuga".
Now, you have not stated whether or not you are addicted to some kind of substance, maybe drugs or popular entertainment, perhaps women? At any rate, addiction will happen to you, because the more you realize that you cannot solve the ever growing problems of the world, you will reach for the bottle, the pill, or whatever, in order to escape the world, if just for a moment, but when you become unable to escape or when you become used to escaping you will start to become anxious in a rather more acute way often revolving around existential themes. Verily, why are you here? Why is there something as opposed to what? Nothing? Other than from the point of view of metaphysics, these are actually rather pointless questions, and I can illustrate this by providing an example: why is there such a thing as gravitation? Well, gravitation is because gravitation is, the question was never really why gravitation is, but rather how we must live with the fact of gravitation. Really, inherent in everything that is within manifestation, everything that is positive and certainly immediate, there must not always be an equal and opposite absence, a negative, even though this is the modern assumption regarding just about everything, read "My Views on Reason",. And so, when you ask "Why am I here?", this is a rather strong indication to me that you are simply lost, which means that you are now in danger of being overcome by the propaganda and the lies. The reason why you are here is simple enough: God has deemed that life should be, and the fact that you happen to be part of life is of no importance, and God is not obligated to make you capable of understanding him and his ways; you are here and the fact that you are here is the reason why you are now prompted to ask this question and this makes you far too aware of yourself, as if the universe revolves around you, but these feelings and confusions have come about because you lack true knowledge. If you seek an answer to your own question you must seek and gain true knowledge and you will find the answers to that question – within.
Now, the fact that you are a Dalit, as I mentioned above, is relevant to the extent that you lack social status within the Indian society, diverse though it is, but this social status used to be reflective of something quite sacred and hierarchical in the past, but admittedly social status must not be allowed to be conflated with hierarchical status, as these are completely different dimensions describing a persons standing, and the one (social status) has very little to do with sacred status (hierarchical status) being that social status is completely material in nature; really, just because you are a Dalit and "born outside the castes", does not mean that you lack a certain amount of potential, even though your potential may be greatly reduced, which is not unique to the Dalits by any means, read "Qualification". Now, this potential used to be reflective in social status, but this has not been the case for a long time. What this all amounts to at the end of the day is an attempt to answer your second question: "My brother was killed in a car accident, does this mean that God hated him[red]"? Really, again here we are dealing with the nature of providence, and because you wondered about whether God hated your brother, I think that it would be prudent for you to consider why you think that maybe God hated your brother? Really, I would submit to you that you have a far too warped view of God, if you think that he hated your brother. Now, I will presume that your brother was a Dalit as well, or at any rate that he had a lower social standing as marrying a person outside the castes naturally would produce a brother (half?) with a social status equal to yours. This all means that it could have been the case that your brother was released from the obligations of life early, which may be a good thing, depending on your view. See, there is plenty of suffering in life, and if your brother died, this must have been because it was ordained by God, and depending on your brothers spiritual progress, he may or may not have been reborn into a new life, potentially a new life with less pain and suffering; obviously this is not something that I can know for a certainly, but the fact that your brother died should be enough reason for you to seek out God. Now, the fact that you are a father is also important here: if you are sorted and deviant, do not make your children sorted and deviated; seek out the truth, and do not let the deviousness of the "progressives" and the humanists to destroy you, do not let them change you. At the end of it all, when everything has been said and when everything has been forgiven, God does not hate – only humanity can hate.
You have reached the end of this post. If you wish me to answer some of your questions I would be more than happy to do so. You may use the Contact Form attached to this webpage to write me a letter, or you may send an email to etherealinsight@protonmail.com, and if you wish to be really prudent you may use both. I may or may not answer your question quickly, which means that it may take a while before I answer your question. Now, you may also write me a letter without a question or you may also ask that I only answer your question in private; in the latter case I should add that it will likely take even longer for me to get back to you.
