The News Cycle |
Tuesday – September 22, 2026
News are all around us these days, read "What is News and Media?", and the information, the nonsense information, that these newscasts provides us are just that, nonsense, and this is why most people choose to call it the "News Cycle", because within a matter of hours, sometimes minutes, there will be new nonsense information for you to consume, and so you are primed for a continual flow of new information. Really, it would be true to say that you are overloaded with information, and information that is completely useless to you, yet the people who are doing this to you will still get paid at the end of the day, at the end of the news cycle, as if they ever provided you with useful information in the first place. This is a problem, and it is a problem that has gotten worse and worse, and is really a part of a much larger problem, read "The End of History". Yes, it was perhaps George Orwell's fantasy that a totalitarian government was going to be able to control the narrative to such an extend that language would cease to carry any meaning, but it appears that Orwell was right about this, and perhaps more right about this than he could have possibly imagined, but more on this later. For now, let us consider only television and radio. As I have stated in the past: television mostly replaced radio as the main source of information for the masses, which meant that now information could also be carried with motion pictures, but I am not so interested in the history of news; I am more interested in how news went from being something that was used to update people on a daily basis to what it has become to day, a continual stream of nonsense. Ask yourself this: do you need to know about the events in a distant corner of the planet, or indeed in a distant corner of your own country? Probably not, but the people behind that run the news do want you to preferably worry all the time, because a worried person is a person that lacks self control, and such a person in much easier to control, and this is why controlling the narrative is so important; whoever controls the narrative controls the information and really the flow of sentimentalism and outrage.
Yes, as I have stated elsewhere, people are controlled by fear these days, and this means that even though people claim that being objective and rational is important, most people are not and most people will never be. Of course, this is actually the point of politics, and one could even say that there exists an alliance, an axis here, read "Temporal Power". The point is power, because when everything is reduced to materialism, to something immediately palpable, people become raw and they become wicked; really, this is a story as old as time, though we are close to losing this important reference point – time. I must say that I refuse to mention any particular service, any particular corporation here, because they are all evil and wicked and I do not wish to make a free commercial for them, but notice that these people are funded by the same people that they claim to investigate, and what supposedly "normal" person would ever buy a missile system? No, this situation is not good and you must not allow these people to control you.
Apropos that word "normal", what is normal, I ask, about the concept of a person that always has anxiety? Nothing, and this is something that most profane scientists would agree with, because according to them a person that has anxiety exists in a state of fear where it makes no sense to exist in such a state; really, it would appear that anxiety is the definition of cognitive dissonance. Or at any rate it would seem that cognitive dissonance is a prerequisite in the course of anxiety, but I do continue to hold that psychiatry is a pseudoscience and often a quite dangerous pseudoscience, and a so-called science that tends to label people all sorts of things that they are not, read "Disability". Everyone has a disability and a disorder these days, but I digress. I should add that these disabilities tend to pop up as a function of the disorder of our time, read "Curing Disease". So yes, my view is that these people are inventing disorders because the world is so dysfunctional and disturbed. Are most people disturbed or is the world disturbed? Again, the media would prefer for you to find problems within, and if you do attempt to find problems on the outside, then you will simply be met with a wall of information. So you see, your isolation and your individuation makes it so that everything implodes on you, and whenever you are compared to the baseline, the supposed baseline, you are clearly deviant. Yes, you have been set up by the system from the star to appear to be disordered. Yes, this is your life on the planet, under the sun.
Now, it may happen that a person becomes sweepted up in this "media cycle", but in soon time, the person will be forgotten. Yes, you will be forgotten, because you do not belong in this world, you have no place and you are foreign to yourself. Yes, this is the whole point of individualism, and when you die, you will be replaced by another unit. To be buried and forgotten, that is actually the point of the media cycle, and this is also a well known strategy among lawyers: when they are being made by the law to hand over certain documentation, they simply burry the important documentation in other useless information, and again the media cycle is essentially the same thing, the same devious strategy. Nothing has a fixed identity anymore. But this is not a conspiracy, this is the result of the Kali Yuga, this age of disorder and degeneration. Of course, information carries almost no meaning anymore, and, again, the media cycle is the most prominent example of this. Yes, I may be rambling on here, but these observations are true, and if you have any sense, you know this too. The world is the world, and René Descartes proclaimed: "I think, therefore I am"; well, I would challenge this Cartesian Dualism by saying this: some people think, but most people do not think, yet it appears that more people are unable to think. Oh yes, this is the harsh reality that has enabled this media cycle to begin with. Yes, do not fear, do not fear, but remain circumspect always. Hope may be out, but knowledge is always paramount.
