Last week I wrote a little bit about the concept of pride, especially as this pertains to certain people cruising bars populated by like minded people; I refuse to mention the word for these people as I believe that I have written more than enough about such people. Here is a link that you can visit if you want to read my blog posts about these people, but I really do not want this post to appear in the search result whenever someone searches for that word. So, I have decided to rely on the word homophiles (homophilia) to describe these people, but I should add that the main purpose of this post is not to cover homophiles; the main purpose of this post is to expand upon my thoughts on pride in more general terms, because it is a concept that keeps nagging me and I feel that I must write more about it.

    As I also stated in my previous post, I am very much suspicious of such things as national-pride, because after all, what good does this serve? Why should a man be proud because of the so-called "nation" he belongs to? Should a man not be more proud over his own achievements, at least this in full accordance with the tenets of individualism, not that the tenets of this "ism" are always that clear, read my "Collectivism & Individualism series"? See, I find it impossible to feel any pride over these material considerations, and I must admit that I find it quite pathetic and really weak to walk around in the world and hold all sorts of positive and lovely feelings over stuff that I never accomplished or crucially do not belong to me, for such things as nationhood and sexuality do not belong to me nor do they belong to you; these are truly constructions that have been imposed on me and on you in order to control and I am simply saying: no way. Of course, you may say that I have already covered the issue of nations a lot on this blog, and that would be true, but this is still a very pressing issue, especially in our days as I expect the formation of nation-states to come to an end—or rather I expect nation-states to either dissolve themselves or be taken up in even larger super and extra-state structures, such as the EU—in the not so distant future, read also my "Future series". Besides that point, I do find the notion of belonging, read "Identity", to a nation evil and it is really the case that nationalism has swept all over the world in the past 2 centuries and as a result the love and admiration men previously had for their God(s) have totally been replaced by this ugly, empty, sterile, and above all secular notion of nationhood. If there ever was something that truly managed to pacify men in the most important sense, the sense of the third eye, it must be this monstrous notion of nationhood, and constantly I keep reading stories about men feeling some kind of pride over the particular political unit they were born into, and I realize what a bad state the world truly is in, read "Disintegration". Of course, it is also the case that most people, most men, are stupid and because of this they are easy to manipulate, but it also the case that stupid people tend to be more desperate and it is likely the case that this desperation tend to emanate in all sorts of confusions, and when a man lacks a relationship with God he is more likely to act in erratic ways. I should also add that because of this lack of God and because most men lead sorted and immoral lives, read "My Views on the Meaning of Purity", they tend to also replace God with notions that tend to cover, at least in part, for God, but of course there is no God to be found inside the concept of nationhood or homophilic pride, or any kind of material pride. Also, ask yourself this: do you really feel this pride that you are claiming or are you perhaps more likely just another liar? See, I actually do not believe most men that claim to be prideful have any pride in their hearts, because their conscience has been damaged and polluted, and really what they are doing is clinging on to a lost hope; this is truly pathetic, as stated above, but then again modern people are pathetic.

    Yes, most people are stupid, read "Notes on Stupid People", but this is nothing new because most people throughout most of history were stupid, but at least the rulers had some sense; today that sense is completely gone. How could anyone in their right mind, read "What is Mental Illness?", promote secularization of this kind? Well, these things are happening because of the cosmological environment, the Kali Yuga, but I fear that I may have carried this post a little bit far off the main subject at hand: namely pride and being proud. As I stated at the outset of this post: most people have fallen for the great lie of individualism, so why is it that people claim to be individualists, indeed there are a lot of "isms" to deal with here, while at the same time they go on to really cling to these identities, and besides the entire concept of modern identity is really stupid and something that is impossible, but modern people have managed to convince themselves on one hand that they are free to live pretend whatever they wish to pretend and that the same time they also believe themselves to be bound to some kind of "rules based order" pertaining to the principles of the reasoned order; yes, all of this seems very convoluted because this is the only thing that can happen. The result of all this is confusion and disdain for the real truth, read "Knowledge", and this is seen all over the place today; and yes I may note all of these things but I do not have any hope that people should all of a sudden change, but then again that was never the purpose of this blog.

    Of course, this can also be seen when it comes to sports and athleticism: people will often feel very proud if their team of nation wins a game, which is also very curious and rather stupid because most of these people are merely supporters that never actually partake in the games, and this is another instance when this need to establish individualism collides with a sort of collectivism, a very low and crude form of collectivism that is, and really a very offensive collectivism, because like most other things here in the world, the modern world, people manage to be very offensive. Yes, be offended by pride, but be offended for the right reasons, and do not allow yourself to fall victim to this stupidity, because they—the revolutionary elite—wants you to. Do not do this to yourself!
