Lies & Propaganda |

Propaganda is an interesting and quite funny thing. Of course, they say, the revolutionary elite that is, that "everything is propaganda", which is quite revealing more so than almost anything else that they could have possibly said, because their world, the solidified world, is truly one of mechanism, but crucially this world can only exist in the mind, read "What is Mental Illness?", of very depraved people. Of course, politicians are by definition depraved, but since they hold temporal power it must also be the case, which it is, that the lies and propaganda go beyond their fantasies and infect the collective subconsciousness of the societal body. Also, in my post "Navigating the Informational Landscape", I covered the effects or propaganda in more detail, so you should read that post if you are interested in that, and I will also recommend that you read my post called "Sentimentalism". Those posts are important because they very much pertain to this subject, and besides I am not about to rehash something that I have already covered previously. I should also say that the statement that "everything is propaganda" must be true to a certain degree or even to a somewhat uncertain degree because after all the world of ideas, ideal as it always must be, is quite different from reality, and if it is the case that you may lie yourself through the ideal world so be it, but once you must deal with reality, things take a different turn/course.

    Why should you lie anyways? First of all, there are different reasons why people lie, but I did not finish my thoughts in the previous sentence: yes, people lie for different reasons and in many cases the biggest reason why people lie is simply because they hold a view of the world, a psychic view I may add, that simply is not congruent with reality, and this is when people are presented with a choice: either you lie or you tell the truth. Further, once people have decided to lie, they often do this because of cynicism, but it can also happen that people almost lie automatically, because it is expected of them to lie; to mention one example of this, think about so-called "white lies". After all, are not these are still small matters, but then again everything tends to begin as something quite small, even quite rare, and if you turn the assumption, the modern assumption, that the more experience you hold the more qualified you are, in this case only in the professional sense of that word, on its head and consider the fact that infants are far more experienced than most adults, you will soon understand that most people began as small liars, because children do tend to lie in smaller amounts and in smaller steps, and grew into enormous liars and it usually reaches a point were many of these people are quite successful in completely replacing reality with the lie. Yes, politics, for instance, is nothing but lies, but that proposition is nothing new, but what is new, at least if you care to consider it, is the proposition, not that I have delivered it so in the past, that for people to become political, they have to give up on everything organic and natural in favor of something artificial, because this is what politics amounts to at the end of the day, read "Ideological Indoctrination": a vast and ever totalizing lie that successfully manages to warp the arch of history to such an extend in the minds of men that they truly cannot fathom reality for what it is; indeed you may say that these people exist in a kind of materialistic paradigm, under a materialist order. Consider again, agrarianism, another one of these "isms": today it is considered perfectly normal and natural, I will cover the dualism of normal & natural at another time, to not work the land, and to not exist within the guild, read "Feudalism", the guild being something that would offer protection and a proper place, read "Hierarchy", in the world; instead modern people, read "Modern Civilization", are considered normal when they are free to chose, read also "Preference", their own path, but of course what they do not mention is that this "path" was already decided for them. It should be clear that the biggest lie, the biggest piece of propaganda, is this illusion of "freedom"; freedom of this and freedom of that, read "What is Freedom?", and in particular it seems that this supposed "freedom of inquiry" is the very embodiment of propaganda, propaganda so powerful that it almost bends reality. Of course, no propaganda can ever be powerful enough to actually bend reality, and in the end reality is destined to "snap back", read "Destruction!", with great vengeance. Of course, it is also true that many men are so stuck in the illusion that the illusion has essentially become a prison, read "What is Identity"; this is the point where the lie and reality has become identity, but only in the mind, and of course another term for this would be mental illness or psychosis.

    Now, you may or may not want to snap out of this psychosis; the choice is yours to make, unless of course you subscribe to the dogma of the hyper-modernists that there is no such thing as will. Yes, I would submit that there indeed can be no such thing as "free will", because will is always guided by higher principles, read "Who or What is God?", but there must be such a thing as will, guided though it is it is still will. Now, lies and propaganda work to affect your will, and unless you are strong enough, read "Strength", to resist the malign influence of Satan, read also "What are Demons?", you will lose your will, or rather your will will no longer be subject to divine instruction. There are of course other ways forward, and this is why you may consider lying for the purpose of overpowering the lies being told to you, read "Should You Create an Alter Ego?", but I should add that you lying in this context, in this connection really, has nothing to do with trying to convince yourself of those lies.

Other than the fact that it is an outrageous lie, it has to be, I can only laugh, because I do not intend to stay in the world until the 2060's! Also, the fact that people, some at any rate, will believe stuff like this is fascinating and goes to show, once again, how stupid so-called "normal" people are, read "Democracy".
