In some ways "Puritanism" can be helpful, but more often than not people who obsess over being pure this and pure that, have one or two skeletons in their closet. Particularly this appears to be the case with fundamentalists, read "The Hypocrisy of the Pious", who use puritanism, often as it pertains to the sensual arts, to cloak themselves in lies that tell a story of something that simply is not the case, while this also allows them to demean the actions of other men, and according to many psychoanalysts this would be a case of "projection", a kind of projection of one's own deceit, which makes these false preachers another kind of counterfeit that you will be sure to encounter in the modern world. Noise and politics is really their modus operandi and of people who operate in deception one thing to always be aware of is the obsession with the pure and particularly as it pertains to the life of other men, a kind of urge to control other people. Now, without going into the psychology of this behavior I suppose I will grant the psychoanalysts this: whenever a man leads a life full of lies, know that this man is likely to steer the destructive forces, read "Destruction!", that appears in his life away from himself and towards other people; really the demons that possess him have to go somewhere, and more often than not other men become the target in the wake of this deceit, because after all the biggest deceit of them all is a man living a lie, a man lying to himself, and indeed this complex of lies and deceit will eventually lead to his own complete destruction, read "Disintegration". Now, there are surely plenty of men that actually do lead ascetic lifestyles, such as many Hindu (ॐ) Sadhus (साधु) or Christian monks, but these men lead lives of quiet faith and they do not engage in the dirty game of politics, and this makes these men truly pure and it sets them as examples for other men to follow, without the need for crude and loud deceit. Another thing that must be mentioned in this context is the real lack of heroes in the material world, read "Heroism": if heroes belong to the supra-individual order, far beyond the corporeal, it must be further asserted that there are no heroes alive, except those men who live beyond the immediate world, and if one thing is true for these men it is that they engage in the sensual arts or they do not engage in the sensual arts with the purpose of affecting the world, read "Skillful Means", really for the betterment of the all, and there is surely at least a dozen arguments in favor of the sensual arts, under the righteous circumstances, read "Polygamy as an Alternative to Divorce", and then there are at least another dozen arguments in favor of abstinence, read "My Views on Sexual Purity", but the point is that a man that knows that he is of ascendant rank and acts in accordance with that rank is no less of a man than the false preacher, and indeed that man is the true hero, and besides to preach was never about politics to begin with, or the dissemination of knowledge to the masses.

    I think that it is fair to say that Protestantism and the concept of "free inquiry" in particular are to blame for the salience of today's false preachers. Besides, what is going on here, something that I have pointed out elsewhere, is a kind of masquerading that is being carried out with the goal in mind to distract, and besides, to hammer home the point about the sensual arts: when in ancient times did men of truly ascendant rank actually treat the sensual arts as non grata? This extremist puritanism is very much American and Protestant in character and actually a fairly recent development anyways, just like the supposed traditional gender roles of today are very recent developments. But I should, of course, grant the puritans this: yes, the men among their ranks who actually believe may have been, but for a short moment, exposed to the inner core knowledge which has created within them a kind of confusion, because they simply had no way of living this truth in accordance with the divine law; and I will also grant them their ability to reject malign influence of one kind or another, for these men are true believers, yet they still lack true knowledge

    I realize that this text may come across as somewhat confusing but the subject at hand is really easy, so allow me to put it in "easy-English terms": if you claim to know God in doctrine, then you only have a certain and exoteric sense of God, and if you proceed into the world with only a very exoteric conception of God you are are claiming to speak for God in blindness, and once you speak on behalf of God in trust only within yourself, then you are likely to turn to deceit and fraud in order to let your view of God conform to the world. In other words: a man that does not truly know of God is indeed not qualified, read "Qualification", to speak on behalf of God, just to simplify this matter further, and therefore such a man will become easily influenced by dark forces within himself and within the world; this man is in danger of twisting the words of God, truly a travesty and blasphemous. Essentially, while there is a certain element of truth within every puritanism, you must understand surely, that what is lacking in this quick sorted kind of propaganda, read "Ideological Indoctrination", is true initiation. Of course it must be a fallacy to conclude that because you are living in accordance with doctrine that you are pure, and therefore infallible. Who I ask but God is truly infallible? Any man who claims to be infallible surely makes a rather grand claim for himself?

    Antichrist may be among us, and be sure that he will claim to be pure, but do not allow this exterior to deceive you, for his true identity is that of counterfeit, and this is particularly the case today, for everything seems to be fake in this dope filled world. Really, tradition has been replaced by something quite disgusting and crude, and be sure, again, that the Antichrist will arrive as a learned man – a learned man without depth. Yes, it is perfectly normal and righteous to seek purity, for the pure represents the organic, but it is quite another thing to allow the exterior of something pure to replace the inner core of knowledge in this way that has been demonstrated above. Do not do this!
