My Views on "Neighbors" |
Tuesday – May 12, 2026
Neighbors, are they not annoying and weird, and really is not the entire concept of neighbors really bizarre to begin with? Of course, and as usual the concept of "neighbors" is another expression of the rampant and confused individualism in the West. The fact that people can go on to live completely compartmentalized and segregated lives so close and parallel to each other, yet in so unfamiliar manners as to be almost complete strangers is indeed a new phenomena under the Sun, really something quite unknown to previous generations, read "Multiculturalism". Of course, I do have personal experience with this, read more of this series here, and it has always been something quite striking, yet most modern people seem to hold the view—because moderns always hold views, they never quite know—that this kind of life, or "lifestyle", is quite natural and normal. Of course, there is absolutely nothing normal about living your life completely parallel with a complete stranger; again this has never occurred before in human history and it shows that people, even modern people, are not quite up to the task, for most scholars would agree that societies where most men feel like strangers are less stable and less fortunate in most manners conceivable, and here of course only material considerations have been acknowledged.
For most of human history on the other hand, people did live close to other people, but this was only possible under the condition that the "other people" were known and integrated parts of the community, and this went far beyond something merely corporeal: in societies of the past, read "Hyperborea", this sense of community was about much more than being merely neighbors and neighborly; the dimension of community and went beyond the material into the realm of the metaphysical and the sacred, and this can be noted in every major tradition, read "My Views on Islam and the East". Of course, it should be noted as well that within the community hierarchies existed as functions of divine right, that is to say people were naturally accustomed and calibrated for their particular place in society, read "Qualification", and everyone had a place in that society, for the people that did not hold a position in the societies of the old world were not members of that society, either because they were outcasts or because they were foreigners. But in modern societies, so-called "societies", everyone is a stranger and nobody seems to know anyone, but of course the proponents of the humanist axiom believes that this is a great thing, for in the chaotic mess that is modern civilization, people should be free to find in other people (individualism) characteristics that are somehow suitable or conducive for some kind of "friendship"; this is usually referred to as "like minded individuals", as if every person is an interchangeable unit that can be replaced with any other such "like minded" unit, read "Favorites". This applies, of course, to your neighbors, but notice the interesting and ever narrowed application of that word "neighbor": it seems that in the past, similarly to the word "home", neighbors could mean anyone within the overall community, whereas of late that word only applies corporeally to those people who lead lives immediately contingent and parallel to your own; again a peculiar case of the narrowing of the horizon, read "The End of History" and "The Eschatology of the Kali Yuga". The fact as well, that men can go on living in this manner without becoming more and more crippled shows how much malign influence they have been affected by, and this in particular is the reason why it has become more and more necessary for men to seek social satisfaction from addictions of all kinds, as they are evermore isolated, compartmentalized, and cut off from humanity.
Indeed, what does it mean to be a member of humanity under these circumstances, when fewer and fewer men know anything about basic humanity? Besides, how like minded are men supposed to be before all of the vast numbers of people affected by this egalitarian and materialist hysteria considers the problem solved, read "Transhumanism" and "Democracy"? Uniformity indeed, and they will not cease with their confused agenda until every man has been rendered identical and homogeneous, read "Eugenics". Besides all of these question marks that—that will go on unanswered—it is clear that the growing pressure from is starting to blow holes and cracks in the wall as social dysfunction is increasing at an alarming rate, read "Disintegration", and more and more men are becoming truly cannibalized, though in isolation, as if this would prevent anything from spilling over. Indeed, it is very hard to function in a normal way, even if we consider "normal" here to only apply to modalities in some harmony with the material order, because the ground is starting to crack and beneath the ground there is only a vast and empty abyss, truly darkness. Also, it is very symbolic that humans, for the most part and certainly increasingly, live inside so-called "homes" that appear to be shrinking in size yet growing in material costs. Is this not a very expensive, even overpriced, home? Yes, but "home" is quickly approaching its limit—that is to say the body, here in a completely corporeal manner—because after all they said: "You will own nothing and be happy" — Ida Auken, at the World Economic Forum in 2016. Well, where are you supposed to go when the only thing you can trust is your own body, especially when you really cannot trust your own body? Is this not totalitarian? Also, where is the unity in all this? To me this appears more as uniform division.
Can you trust your neighbor today? Of course not, but know that tomorrow you will not be able to trust yourself either. Soon, you will have lost all control over your destiny, but apparently "... you will be happy". Look, if any of this fails to animate you, then you are more likely than not lost, and there is simply nothing more that I can do for you, and hopefully you are happy, but I somehow doubt that you are. Once a man has committed to Satanism, this is truly Satanic, his soul is forever lost and, for the most part at any rate, he can no longer be rescued. Is this the best description of the postmodern hell that is "neighbors": so close and uniform, almost identical, yet so distant that entire lives can be lived without the slightest contact, without the slightest acknowledgment? At this point, have we not lost all of humanity?
